Place on Monday, January 7, 2008, several quest ions were
raisedwhich requi re c lar i f i cat ion:1) Co ntractors are not
expected to team up wi th an Archi tectu ral f i rm to make a jo
intproposal . Archi tectural and Contractor proposals are to be
separate and to besubmit ted to meet the requirements of the indiv
idual Request for Proposals.2) Th e RFP sta tes a budg et of $75 M
has been set for phase 1 w or k; this includes theroof. The value
of the roof replacement is est ima ted at $20 M.3) The RFP states
the contrac tor is to assist wi th feasibi l ity studies for the
new roof. Thetype of roof replacement wi l l be conf i rmed in the
early stages of the construct ionma nag em ent contract. Coordinat
ion of the roof replacem ent on s i te andresponsibi l i ty of
issues such as temporary waterproof ing, temporary condi t ions,
etc.wi l l be conf i rmed prior to award of the Roof Replacement
contract.4) The f inal scope of wo rk for the construct ion man
agem ent contra ct wi l l be conf i rm edas the p roject and bud
get are f inal ized. I tem s no t l is ted in the RFP scope of wo
rkmay be added as the project develops.5) The schedule in the RFP
states phase 1 work is to be com pleted on or beforeNovember 1,
