• FY07 expense was $ 5.609 MY• FY08 expense was $ 5.817 MY• FY09 planned expense is $ 6.347

Little change in proportion of expenses by category this year over past two yearsSalary merit increases have been met through a combination of decreasing hardware purchases and operating expenses


Staffing trends, previous contract

• FTE generally downward each year Overall -13% reduction or 6 FTE In other words, 1+ FTE a year

• Greatest reductions in scientist support,programmers, and programs staff (FY04-FY07)

• Increases in USO, communications/writers(FY04-FY07)

effectively manage these data within ECS withoutdegradation of services

we confirm CU is actually going to make spaceavailable to us
