17. ACTUAL DEMAND FOR ADDITIONAL GRANT-IN-AID TO COMPESATE LOST ON INTRODUCTION OF GST:

The legal opinion of Charted Accountant dated 02.05.2017 say that effect after the imposition of Goods and Service Tax Act will be on local business taxes i.e. Octroi Tax and Tax on Trade. Octroi Tax Received Rs. 1500/- App.

18. SUPPLY OF MANPOWER IN CANTONMENT BOARD AJMER

Reference advertisements viae-procurement system published in two local news papers vide this office letter No. I/42/CA2017-18/1139 dated 18.08.2017. Only two bids were received. Again tender was re-invited vide this office letter No. I/42/CA2017-I 8/ll80 dated 19.09.2017. In response of this five bids have been received on 29.09.2017 & technical bid has been opened on 29.09.2017 for all five bius and out of five bids only three bids qualified in technical bid evaluation and now financial bid has also been opened on 29.09.2017. To note and confirm the Circulation Agenda NO. 01 dated 29.08.2017 regarding providing free uniforms to students of State Govt. Middle School, Paltan Bazar, Ajmer. The students studying in this school are from economically weaker sections and residents ofPaltan Bazar, Ajmer Cantonment.

12. NOTING AND CONFIRMATION OF CIRCULATION AGENDA NO. 02 DATED 29.08.2017.

To note and confirm the Circulation Agenda NO. 02 dated 29.08.2017 regarding repairing work of group latrines located in civil area, it is essential to engage 5 Mistri and 10 Beldars on prevailing market rates, cleaning of Group latrines Septic tanks, purchase of store i.e. cement, bajri, bricks, stone etc. Payment thereof will be made on weekly basis and expenditure so arrives will be booked under Budget Head D (2) f under which provision exists for 2017-18 (Revised) to declare Ajmer Cantonment as ODF compulsorily by 30.09.2017 without fail.

13 . NOTING AND CONFIRMATION OF CIRCULATION AGENDA NO. 03 DATED 29.08.2017.

14. INCREASE THE HONORARIUM OF SANITARY INSPECTOR:

To consider application dated 24.08.2017 submitted by Shri Mithlesh Kumar Sharma, Sanitary Inspector (on contract basis), Cantonment Board, Ajmer requesting for increase in the honorarium.

14. RESOLUTION NO. 14: Considered and approved minimum wages be paid Rs. 18000/- per month w.e.f. 01.07.2017

7. ESTABLISHMENT: COMPASSIONATE APPOINTMENT:

Reference Cantonment Board Res. No. 07 dated 24.06.2017.To make appointment on compassionate ground for the post of Safaiwala to Shri Vikas S/o Late Sh. Chandra Prakash Sarwan, Ex. Safaiwala of the Cantonment Board.

8. TO ENGAGE ONE MISTRI AND TWO BELDAR:

To consider the matter for engage One Mistri and Two beldar for Maintenance & Repair work of Cantonment Fund Property in Paltan Bazar area, Ajmer Cantonment and purchase of store i.e. Cement, Bajri, Concrete, Bricks, stone etc.

RESOLUTION NO. 8 : Considered and approved, one Mistri and two beldars be hired on minimum wages basis for next 11 months. Further as discussed by the board one additional mistri along with two beldars and those earlier working under ODF (5 mistris and 5 Beldars) be hired on daily wages for next one month for other repair and maintenance works. Further in this respect CEO is authorised to purchase the store i.e. cement, bajri, bricks, color painting etc. and payment to Mistris and Beldars.

9. POINTS RAISED BY ELECTED MEMBER:

Reference application dated 24.05.2017 submitted by Smt. Jyoti Bagehla, elected member of Ward No. 4 for low pressure of water connection, cleaning of vacant land siluated near Group latrine and Repair and Maintenance work of Drain and Pavement etc. in Ward No. 04.

10. ENGAGEMENT OF MALE NURSE GR. II:

To fix the charges of Male Nurse Grade-II for Cantonment Board Outdoor Dispensary fo r lwo hours daily on contract basis. The honorarium is paid to Rs. 7500/- per month.

RESOLUTION NO. 10 : Considered and approved mmnnum wages be pajd Rs.9000/- per month. Further resolved that Male Nurse-II and Doctor will sit for 2 hours each in Morning and evening hours.

5. WALK-IN-INTERVIEW OF CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT ON CONTRACT BASIS:

Reference advertisement published irr two local news papers i.e. Dainik Bhasker and Rajasthan Patrika, Ajmer on 29th July, 2017 for walk-in-interview of chartered accountant on contract basis and interview was conducted on 16-08-2017 at 1500 hours in the office of the Cantonment Board, Ajmer. Only Seven Candidates came for Walk-in-Interview. Among them CA Smt. Khushboo Jindal resident of H.No. 2595, Pop Singh Mohalla, Syar Oli bazar, Nasirabad (Raj.) got highest marks. Therefore, CA Smt. Khushboo Jindal engaged as Chartered Accountant on contract bas is for the period of 11 months and salary should be Rs. 15000/- (Rs. Fifteen thousand) only per month be paid w.e.f. 01.09.2017.

RESOLUTION NO.5: Considered and approved. Payment ofRs. 15000/- per month be fixed as honorarium to be paid to the Chartered Accountant on contract basis for the period of llmonths w.e.f. 01.09.2017.

6. MAN POWER SUPPLY:

To consider the matter to make arrangement of five safaiwalas for the purpose of sanitation works, one lineman-cum-fitter for water supply works and one male nurse grade-II (for two hours daily) for dispensary in civil area Ajmer Cantt. for the month of August, 2017. To make the payment of contractual temporary, casual & Ad-hoc labor, budgetary provisions has already been made in 2017-18 (Revised) and 2018-19 (Original).

Total expenditure ofRs. 90,000/- App. for the month of August, 2017.
