The standard tool to use when considering anchorage to concrete, allows complete geometric flexibility with the anchor patterns or base plate shape. Designs are calculated to be compliant with the latest major published design criteria and use products that have been tested by independent approval bodies for performance.

Comparisons of anchors can occur in several ways within Powers Design Assist. For a broad analysis, quickly calculate and filter the entire anchor library with a click of a button. To take a more detailed look, use the comparison tool to select up to 3 anchors to review the detailed properties and results. These robust features will enable you to intelligently select the optimal product for your design.

PDA software can be used for anchorage designs for seismic load conditions adopting the approved range of anchors.

Introduction of Australian Standard AS 5216:2018 requires the anchors to be designed in accordance with this standard. PDA software can be used for designs in accordance with AS 5216:2018 to satisfy deemed-to-comply requirements of NCC2019.

Further extending the functionality of base plate designs, you can now leverage this software using Australian Steel Profiles.

To provide the best possible design Powers has developed PDA software and includs the international design methods EN 1992-4:2018 that can be reviewed for designs not covered in latest Australian Standard AS 5216:2018, "Design of post-installed and cast-in fastenings in concrete".
