Mission Statement
The Women’s Fund of Greater La Crosse exists to enrich the lives of women and girls so they can do the same for others.
We do this by:
Identifying needs and filling gaps in our community.
Supporting projects that build self-sufficiency and foster self-esteem in women and girls.
Building a sustainable endowment fund.

“The Women’s Transportation Fund provides assistance to women experiencing transportation problems that negatively impact their ability to be self sufficient. To date, more than 500 women have received assistance with gas vouchers, bus tokens, car insurance and repairs, drivers’ license fees, and cab services. These funds have made it possible for them to go to school and gain or retain employment. This wouldn’t be possible without you, the members of the Women’s Fund.”-Lindsey Schwarz-Nichols, CSW Women’s Transportation Fund

“I would like to thank everyone at the Women’s Fund for their generosity to the Non-Traditional Occupations at Western Technical College. Without that support, I would have been unable to afford the books needed for my chosen field as a computer support specialist. Thank you sooooo much!”-StudentWestern Technical College

“By allowing agencies such as DIVP to receive and distribute money from the Women’s Fund, donors make it possible for women to get the much needed financial assistance and maintain their dignity at the same time. No groveling, no hoop, just help!” -Ann Quinlisk, DVIP Executive Director

The 2010 “Blooming Rose” represents the many women who are able to blossom because of all that the Women's Fund provides for them.
The carved rain drops stand for the time, programs, money, energy, ideas, and talents that the members of the Women's Fund give to feed and nourish the potentials of the women of the world.
The rose vines encircling the body are the people of the Women's Fund supporting and caring for the women they help. The painted swirly sky shows the exciting journey the women are able to take because of their new opportunities. The sky is the limit.
Artwork is used to promote the Women’s Fund throughout the year be creating merchandise that is sold to raise money.
