School year 2015-2016 will be a defining year for the Filipino
youth! Learning from the current challenges of our country and the
broadening influence of social media, now is an opportune time
todeliberate how we can optimize the youths energy and vibrancy for
nation building. PilipinasNatin, the volunteer movement ofthe
Presidential Communications Operations Office,would like toinvite
educators and student leaders from your organization to the2015
Volunteerism Summit: Information that Inspires Youth Involvement on
August 19 to 21, 2015 at the Tagaytay International Convention
Center. This conference will gatheresteemed school and community
based youth leaders and facilitatorsto discuss best practices in
engaging the youth thru social communications. By the end of the
conference, participants are expected to be able to: 1. Learn
effective social communication tools and practices and be able to
apply them in organizing advocacies and campaigns and mobilizing
volunteers; 2. Be inspired by successful community development
initiatives and nation building advocacies; 3. Grow a community of
young servant leaders- committed to practice inner leadership and
servant hood- in their respective schools and communities Be one
with us in shaping the hearts of the young. With your support, we
willempower our student leaders and educators to be
influentialcommunicators that inspire action for the common
good.The registration fee of Four Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (Php
4,500) per participant will include the hotel accommodations, food
