Starting in her early 20’s with White Spot, some 16 years ago, Tania has worked her way up from a server to becoming the General Manager seven years ago. Tania purchased the Central Saanich location three years later, and within four months, Tania gave the restaurant a complete renovation with a fresh West Coast design. Working along side Tania is Tanya Fercho. Tanya was born and raised in Victoria and has been with White Spot for just over seven years. She started as a hostess through a work experience program when she was 16, and has since worked her way up to become the Service Manager at the Central Saanich location, a position she has held since October of 2009. The White Spot offers a great lounge, with a full bar and a variety of wine options, including some local selections, great for a quick couples’ getaway. The Central Saanich White Spot attracts a wide demographic, from families with young children, “who are always looking for our famous Pirate Pak meals in a fun cardboard boat,” says Tania, to young couples and seniors who are budget conscious. “There is always a focus on new menu development, with new promotions quarterly, that focus on ‘Fresh Thinking, Fresh Cooking’ being unique and innovative,” says Tania. “Our purpose at White Spot is to create legendary experiences that touch people’s lives.” The Central Saanich White Spot is located at 2401 Mount Newton X Road, Saanichton, and is open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. 9845 RESTHAVEN DR. Clothing alteration shop conveniently located near town centre provides wide scope of service to address customer requests so as to make their clothes fit right and look good to their mutual benefit. There were lots of bridal gowns and prom dresses altered over these three years, many smiles shone. Plenty of custom one-off work was done, various leather items, accessories and even pet clothes among others. Genuine creativity is often necessary attribute to find way to make things work. Flexibility is another ingredient to accommo- date customer needs and demands. Victoria is dedicated to quality service and very meticulous in her pursuit of high sewing standards. With a great deal of help from talented and enthusiastic ladies who work beside her Victoria gained loyal clientele base from town and surrounds. Victoria is always happy to pass her knowledge and skills to team of motivated and energetic individuals who were selected by their professional abilities and desire to learn and refine their craft. Victoria’s Stitch welcomes customers Tuesday to Saturday and looks forward to keep good relations with customers and make new friends.
