EXCELLENT( 9-10 MARKS )Excellent and confident use of language.Ideas convey clearly through a varietysentence structure. Confident to use newwords to express ideas. Ideas are well-planned, relevant and linked.Overall accurate use of spelling andpunctuation.

CREDIT( 5-8 MARKS )Confident use of language throughout.Attempts made to construct variety typesof sentence structures but occasionalerrors occur.Most ideas are well planned but links maybe absent or inappropriate.Most of the ideas are well organized andconveyed clearly.Overall meaning is still clear.

ACHIEVEMENT( 3-4 MARKS )Generally, confident use of the language.Simple sentences with minor errors butmeaning is still clear.Satisfactory presentation of ideas.A few punctuation and spelling errors.

LOW ACHIEVEMENT( O-2 MARKS )Poor use of language.Multiple errors found in sentences.Ideas are incomprehensible even after afew readings.Limited and incorrect use of vocabulary.Many spelling and punctuation errors.There is no answer given.
