1. In case of extreme weather, the Parade will be canceled. Information about a cancellation the day of the Parade may be obtained from Plymouth Police Department at 536-1804. Cancellation notices will be broadcast on WPNH 100.1 FM, WLNH 98.3 FM and WLKZ 105 FM.

2. No person may use any type of vehicle with protruding or outrigger wheels in a parade unless the vehicle is suitably modified to protect both riders and pedestrians from the wheel assembly RSA 265:108a I (a)

3. At least one adult, other than the driver, shall supervise children riding on a vehicle in a parade and have a reasonable means of immediate communication with the driver. The number of adults supervising the children shall not be less than one adult per every 4 children and sufficient to ensure that each child is visible to a supervising adult. RSA 265:108-a I (b)

4. Children riding on a vehicle in a parade shall remain entirely within the perimeter of the vehicle and, if standing, shall be reasonably protected from probable injury if the vehicle suddenly starts or stops. RSA 265:108-a I (c)

5. No candy or articles of any sort may be thrown from moving vehicles or floats to spectators. If you have walkers passing out candy, flyers, etc, they must walk to the spectators.

6. Portable generators will be securely mounted and a fire extinguisher shall be available for all motorized vehicles.

7. Parade entries that include animals are responsible to provide adequate water, shelter, and animal waste cleanup.

8. Parade participants are prohibited from using alcohol or drugs before or during the Parade.

9. Smoking is prohibited anywhere near a float.

10. Plymouth Police will inspect all floats and other parade entries for compliance with these guidelines and state law. Participants who do not comply will not be allowed to proceed.
