Step 1 Click “Download Plugin.”

In order to access all the creative features of Cricut Design Space™, you’ll need to install the Design Space™ plugin. The plugin is installed onto your computer and executed by your browser, so if you use Design Space™ on more than one computer, you’ll need to install it on each one.

As new features become available, you will be prompted to update your plugin as you begin a new project. Therefore, the plugin pictured below may not reflect the most recent version of the Design Space™ plugin.

Step 2 When the download is complete, close all browser windows. Open the folder where you saved the download and double click on the Cricut Design Space™ file.

Step 3 You may be asked whether you want to allow the program to make changes to your computer. Click “Yes.” If you are prompted to enter the administrator username and password, do so.

Step 4 The Cricut Design Space™ setup window will open. Click “Next” to continue.

Tip: Be sure you exit your browser completely when installing the Design Space™ plugin.

Step 6 Decide if you would like a desktop shortcut. Click “Next” to continue.

Step 5 Review and accept the Terms and Conditions. Click “Next” to continue.

Step 7 You are ready to install the plugin. Click “Next” to continue the installation.

Step 8 Cricut Design Space™ has been successfully installed. If you would like to launch Design Space™ into your default browser, leave the box checked and click “Finish.”
