-01About Liane Ashberry’s Songs...

Liane lost her youngest daughter Ella age

11 to bone cancer in January 2009.

Liane’s lyrics and vocals, written/

recorded between 2011-15, are mainly

about losing Ella, and how Liane saw life

- which was with the most extraordinary

love, fun, generosity and compassion.

Sadly Liane lost her own battle with a

deep depression in April 2015.

And so this album is now about Liane as much as Ella.

Besides her amazing musical talents, Liane Ashberry was a dedicated and brilliant

community worker, specialising in troubled teenagers/families in Leicester, UK. After Ella

died, Liane also became a major fundraiser for the Bone Cancer Research Trust, and

children’s treatment facilities.

Liane was loved by the hundreds of people who knew her - and Liane loved everyone

she knew, and everyone she did not, and all the natural world.

Along with her enduring love and laughter, Liane leaves us her songs, and the inspiration

and comfort they offer, whatever and however this music makes you feel.
