Plex is The Manufacturing Cloud, delivering industry-leading enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and manufacturing automation to hundreds of companies across industries including aerospace and defense, food and beverage, and motor vehicles.

The Plex Manufacturing Cloud helps companies connect and communicate plant floor processes in real time across every part of the organization. ERP from Plex dramatically improves operational functions through a scalable platform built to support continuous innovation and accelerate growth. Manufacturers are more competitive, more responsive to customers, and more profitable with Plex. We’re what’s next.

Evolve. And win. Manufacturing best practices once focused on long, standardized production runs. On-premise ERP fulfilled this purpose, locking down a process, making it repeatable, and eliminating variation. Today’s model of manufacturing is defined by shorter production runs, accelerated go-to market times, and fluctuating demand. Industry leaders, regardless of size, are defined by their ability to act rather than react.

Unlike legacy ERP, which was built to maintain the status quo, the Plex Manufacturing Cloud is responsive to change. System upgrades used to be released every few years, leaving users with underperforming software and ineffective manual workarounds during the interim. Since our ERP solution embraces a single code base and continuous development model, the software is always current. With continuous innovation, we can respond quickly to your requests, allowing you to take advantage of new functionality and capabilities much faster than the traditional, complex upgrade process.

The Plex Manufacturing Cloud is free from cumbersome on-site servers, making it accessible anywhere through a secure Internet connection or the SmartPlex mobile app. Plex allows you to reduce upfront cash outlay, reduce the burden on the IT department, and gain access to a sophisticated ERP solution that was financially out of reach for many manufacturers until now.

Meet the Plex Manufacturing Cloud. The Plex Manufacturing Cloud is the first and only cloud ERP built to accommodate the complex, precision processes of manufacturing companies. Covering every function of the manufacturing enterprise, our ERP solution delivers data-driven insights from all areas of manufacturing, such as production, operations, quality, and compliance updates, straight from the plant floor in real time.

With a secure web browser or the SmartPlex mobile app, analysis and management functions are accessible anywhere. For insight straight from the source, Plex also connects to virtually any machine, tool and device on the shop floor. Quality management is built in. This improves every step of the manufacturing process, helping you manage quality comprehensively from suppliers and raw materials all the way through to the customer experience. As only a robust and comprehensive ERP solution can, the Plex Manufacturing Cloud captures the enormous amount of information generated on the plant floor and transforms big data into customizable dashboards for reporting and forecasting.

Plex helps manufacturers see and understand every aspect of their business:• Accounting & finance.• Business intelligence.• Customer and sales management.• Human resources management.• Inventory management.• Production management.• Product and program management.• Quality management.• Supply chain management.

Built on the plant floor. Manufacturing matters. Making products in America keeps the economy strong and bolsters national pride. Cloud computing is transforming manufacturing by connecting people, machines, materials, suppliers, customers, and data in a single system that helps you manage the plant floor from anywhere.

Manufacturing is in the Plex DNA. Unlike legacy ERP providers, where manufacturing is just one of many modules, the Plex Manufacturing Cloud reflects a new way of thinking. Our enterprise software is built from the plant floor up instead of from the accounting department down.

Realizing the inherent advantages of cloud computing, such as scalability, affordability, and adaptability, Plex was an early adopter, moving to the cloud in 2001. Our passion, then and now, was to deliver a manufacturing performance system that would capture plant floor activities like process automation, machine integration, and quality control in real time. The power to collect precise data and associate it with automated processes, like preemptive machine maintenance, for example, cannot be added in later.

And that is the Plex difference. Our software is built to take advantage of the computing power of the cloud. It does something that has never been done before: provide manufacturers with a single, real-time view of plant floor operations, visible across an entire enterprise.

If you’re ready to find profits being left on the plant floor, choose ERP that connects the plant floor to the world outside your four walls.
