If you wish to participate, there is a signup sheet in the sacristy. Grade 2 will not have morning class(9-10am) that day. Candle Intentions Sacred Heart of Jesus candles this week are burning for The Right to Life , for all people from birth to death. Mary’s Candles this week are sponsored by Jim Gordon in memory of Louise O’Connor. Please pray for Louise O’Connor Contact the parish office if you would like to sponsor candles in memory of a loved one or for a special intention. High School Mission Trip...This year’s trip will be to Philadelphia, PA July 7-12, 2019 with Catholic Heart Workcamp. Students currently in grades 8-12 can join us as we help in food kitchens , urban gar- dening projects, and simple maintenance work. Come join us for a week of vacation helping those in need and grow closer to God. We will also explore some of Philly’s tourist sights. The cost of the trip is $314 p/p. Registration forms and a non refundable deposit of $100 are needed by January 27th. Fund- raisers will be held to help with the rest of the cost of the trip. Bible Study MARY, A Biblical Walk with the Blessed Mother Wednesday Mornings 9-10:30am in the church hall Its not to late to join this group! Mary calls us to grow closer to her Son, Jesus, through her. In this bible study we do just this. With readings from the Old and New Testaments, we will look at the life of Mary and how she is an essenal part in Salvaon History even today. Join us as we take a video journey through the Holy Land to see the places we read of in the Gospels and deepen our relaonship with Jesus through greater devoon to our Blessed Mother, Mary. Let’s open up a discussion on what each of us can do to prevent this from happening to our own families. We will discuss what our kids can do and the resources they have around them to help. Sargent Befford from the Spencer Police Department will talk about Parish Safety during a lock down situation. He will discuss the Crase Program, Civilian Response to Active Shooter Event. Learning what to do in an emergency situa- tion can make all the difference. All are welcome to at- tend this meeting.
