Congregational Breakfast - Today
Re-Scheduled from January 6th
It will be held between services and will give the entire congregation and guests a chance to have
fellowship with one another in a non-formal setting. Bible study? No problem, come by and get your
breakfast to go. This will be a free meal and everyone is invited to come.
Welcome, welcome, welcome! God is good, all the time, and all the time, God is good! We’re so glad you can join us today as we wor-ship and praise our Lord and God for all that he has done for us! King David wrote, “I was glad when they said to me, ‘Let us go to the house of the Lord.’” We’re glad you said that this morning! May the Lord bless us with his presence and grace as we gather today. If you have
any questions or concerns please speak to one of our ushers or to Pastor Mark. Blessings!!
It’s January, so let’s talk … VBS!! We are excited about the prospect of put-ting on a VBS this summer for our school kids and for the children of our neigh-borhood! It will take a lot of work (they always do), and will need a lot of adver-tising and marketing, but it would also be a ton of fun! If you’re interested in helping out in any way, there’s a sign up list in the narthex (lobby). Put your name, cell phone and email, and we’ll see how the Lord is going to lead!
January 2019 Newsletter is now in the Narthex, please take
one as you leave service.

My name is Jon Fisher and I'm a member of Friendship Lutheran Church of Joy in Champaign, IL. I have a 19 year old son who plays collegiate baseball. He is going to be playing in the South Florida Collegiate Baseball League this sum-mer. I am trying to find a host family and/or a room to rent for him for the approximately 55 days (June 1—mid July) that he will be in Palm Beach Gar-dens, would love to find him a Christian and safe environment while he is down in your area.
