We are pleased to present this beautiful Oyster 655 for sale. Larette is a very

modern sloop yacht with contemporary design. She offers great volume for a

65-footer along with outstanding performance thanks to her carbon mast and

boom, combined with performance sails. Down below you’ll find all the comforts

for modern liveaboard cruising that you could wish for - washer/dryer,

dishwasher, reverse cycle air conditioning, watermaker, ice maker, etc...

Larette has been well cared for but very little used. She offers excellent value

for money and her owner is also willing to discuss the sale of his berth

separately. Viewings will certainly not disappoint!!

CONSTRUCTION

Hull

GRP hull is laid up single skin with structural stringers and floors, to Lloyds

approved design specification, and incorporates a hi-tech, custom Carbon/Kevlar

composite laminate.

Built to comply with the requirements stipulated in the European Union’s

Recreational Craft Directive (EURCD) to meet design Category A – ‘Ocean’.

Hull colour white with cove line and double boot top lines in Awlgrip metallic Jet Black.

Watertight bulkheads to sail locker and lazarette.

The stern design incorporates a recessed platform, which is especially useful for

bathing and boarding and is finished with laid teak. This area includes a fold-

down stainless steel bathing/boarding ladder with oval tube treads and moulded

GRP steps, trimmed with teak treads, incorporated into the transom for easy

access to the stern deck.

Keel

High performance bulb (HPB) external keel.

Fully protected skeg-hung rudder with sacrificial tip to extended rudder section. Stainless steel weed cutter

Saloon

The light and airy saloon features a large, L-shaped settee to starboard and a

shorter settee to port. Central to the L-shaped settee is a fixed maple table with

fold-over leaf, to double its size for dining. At the aft end of the starboard settee is a ‘coffee table’

area with drawer under, and brushed stainless steel grabrails. Two loose folding director’s chairs, with

white leather seats and backs, allow for comfortable dining for eight. Grabhandles in brushed stainless

steel to forward end of each settee. Grabrail on centreline edge of table in brushed stainless steel. Horizontal, baize-lined bottle

stowage in table pedestal, including layer for champagne bottles. Drinks locker with stowage for bottles

and glasses, plus additional lockers for stowage of crystal glasses and spirit bottles. Electric lift for 32” TV from behind

settee. Miele washer/dryer. Raritan icemaker below forward end of port settee. Overhead handrail in brushed

stainless steel. Access to the cockpit is via a set of companionway steps in clear-coated carbon

fibre, with timber surrounds and brushed stainless steel handrails.

Navigation area

Comfortable forward/outboard facing navigation station to starboard with chart

table, locker and bookshelf. Instruments set into timber fascia. Upholstered

swivel seat with high backrest and brushed stainless steel arms. Circuit breaker panel in brushed stainless steel with

black switches.

Galley

Down two steps, aft of the saloon to port, the U-shaped galley provides a

spacious, safe area to work in whilst at sea with good worktop space. Above the

sinks an opening portlight provides ventilation from the guest cockpit footwell.



Gimballed Neff B6774 stainless steel, multifunction oven with microwave, and 4-burner ceramic hob. Stainless steel rod inserts

by cooker as hot pan stand. AEG stainless steel extractor hood with fan and light. Jura Impressa coffee machine. Front-

opening refrigerator with brushed stainless steel door, with second top-opening

refrigerator. Top-opening freezer. Fisher & Paykel DishDrawer single drawer dishwasher with a deep pan

drawer below. Twin stainless steel Franke sinks with integrated water filter system. Drainage grooves to

worktop on either side of sink. Plentiful stowage lockers including additional crockery stowage. Locker doors to

cupboards above counter tops in stainless steel finish Formica.

Engine room

Accessed via hinged doors from the aft passageway. Built of sound-insulating

plywood with the entire area insulated with a foam and barrier insulation, with

exposed wooden surfaces coated in fireproof paint. 24V lighting, plus 2 extractor

fans ducted to the exterior. Automatic fire extinguishers. Stowage racks on rear of engine

room doors.

Aft starboard twin cabin

To starboard, off passageway, with upper and lower berths. Hanging locker,

drawers and lockers. Lower berth lee cloth modified to create a ‘cot side’ in strong mesh, with sprung stainless

steel tube along top edge to fit into sockets. Leather upholstered headboard and footboards to each berth.

Owner’s stateroom

Aft cabin with double berth offset to port, with leather upholstered headboard set into painted

bulkhead and under-berth drawers. Sprung mattress. Settee/seaberth to starboard with desk

and hanging locker, including additional drawers. Vanity desk with mirror and upholstered

seat to port with second large hanging locker. Full-length mirror on hanging locker. Abundant

drawer and locker space. Recessed bookshelves/stowage to port and starboard. 3-brick combination safe. Access from the aft deck via sliding companionway hatch with
