During gaming, the gamers tend to slowly conform their bodies into a comfortable position, not caring if they look ridiculous whilst playing. For a gamer, playing video games feels like entering into a virtual world and the skills that they have acquire over the years kicks in straight away, like SECONDnature.

Therefore, in this month’s issue of SECONDnature, we will touch on the perks of video gaming!

The 60 GB model was to be the only configuration to feature an HDMI port, Wi-Fi internet, flash card readers and a chrome trim with the logo in silver.

The PlayStation 3 uses the Sony, Toshiba, IBM-designed Cell microprocessor as its CPU, which is made up of one 3.2 GHz PowerPC-based “Power Processing Element” and eight Synergistic Processing Elements. The eighth SPE is disabled to improve chip yields. Only six of the seven are accessible to developers.

PlayStation 3 was unveiled by Sony to the public on May 16, 2005 at the E3 2005 conference, along with a ‘boomerang’ shaped prototype design of the Sixaxis controller for a much firmer grip on the controls while gaming.

A functional version of the system was not present there, nor at the Tokyo Game Show in September 2005, although demonstrations were held at both events on software development kits and comparable personal computer hardware.

FIFA 12 is the nineteenth game in Electronic Arts’ FIFA series of association football video games. It was developed by EA Canada, and published by Electronic Arts worldwide under the EA Sports label.Three major gameplay changes have been implemented in FIFA 12; these are the Impact Engine, Tactical Defending, and Precision Dribbling.FIFA 12 less structured and synthetic than its predecessors,[14] and has been described by producer David Rutter as the biggest technological change to the series since the transition to the current generation of consoles.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is a first-person shooter video game, developed by Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games, with Raven Software having assisted in development.It is the third installment in the Modern Warfare series, a direct sequel to 2009’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and the eighth Call of Duty installment.With the best multiplayer shooting that money can buy, an incredibly action-packed campaign and plenty of superb two-player co-op levels, this is without a doubt a real contender for game of the year.

Grand Theft Auto IV is a 2008 open world action-adventure video game published by Rockstar Games, and developed by UK game developer Rockstar North.

The game involves a separate timeline and world than its predecessors starting the fourth “era” in the Grand Theft Auto series, and is set in fictional Liberty City, based heavily on modern day New York City.

The game follows Niko Bellic, who comes to the United States in search of the American Dream, but quickly becomes entangled in a world of gangs, crime, and corruption.

It’s not just a games conse, it’s an entertainment system. Apart from all the games it plays, some of them in stunning full 1080p HD, and is 3D compatible. It can play, audio CD’s and will let you rip the CD to the consoles HdD. It is able to play standard DVD’s and if watching these DVD’s on an HD TV the ps3 will upscale the picture quality to near HD. It also plays BlueRay full HD movies and it can also stream music/movies that are stored on your pc/laptop via wireless internet media sharing.

Studies have shown that playing PS3 has increased multi-tasking skills levels in

gamers who play.

Sitting is for the average gamers who play PS3 once in awhile, they still need a chair to cushion their losses.

Standing is for the amateur gamers who have yet to get familiarised to the games yet, thus they stay on their feet.

Slouching is for the daily gamers who are accustomed to the games, and have no problems slouching whilst playing.

If you have a USB camera, you can video chat with friends who also have a PS3. You are able to browse through the Internet with its built in web browser. It gives you access to the playstation store, where you can buy not just games, but rent and buy videos too, you can also download other apps for watching music videos.Sony PlayStation has been famous for his Role Playing Games (RPG), specially the final fantasy series. Another thing that the PlayStation 3 is great for is the ability to play blu-ray movies, the new way to watch high definition movies.

Some expressed concern over the lack of an analog joystick, these fears were allayed when the PSP was officially unveiled at the Sony press conference during E3 2004.

In addition to announcing more details about the system and its accessories, Sony also released a list of 99 developer companies that had pledged support for the new handheld. Several PSP game demos, such as Konami’s Metal Gear Acid and SCE Studio Liverpool’s Wipeout Pure were also shown at the conference.

PlayStation Portable is a handheld game console manufactured and marketed by Sony Corporation Development.

The PlayStation Portable is the only handheld video game console to use an optical disc format, Universal Media Disc, as its primary storage medium. Other distinguishing features of the console include its large viewing screen, robust multi-media capabilities, and connectivity with the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, other PSPs and the Internet.

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is a video game produced by Konami and Kojima Productions that was released for the PlayStation Portable in 2010.Set in 1974 in Central America, the game follows the exploits of returning protagonist Naked Snake, now known as Big Boss, as he runs a mercenary unit using the resources he acquired from Gene at the end of Portable Ops, four years before.

The game also adds more information behind the founding of the military state Outer Heaven.

God of War: Chains of Olympus is a third person action-adventure video game developed by Ready at Dawn and SCE Santa Monica Studio. Loosely based on Greek mythology, the game is set in Ancient Greece and the player controls the protagonist Kratos, a Spartan warrior in the service of the Olympian Gods.

Kratos is guided by the goddess Athena, who instructs him to find the Sun God Helios, as with the absence of the Sun, the Dream God Morpheus has caused the remaining gods to slumber.

Wipeout Pulse is a racing game, developed by SCE Studio Liverpool for the Sony PlayStation Portable, sequel to Wipeout Pure.[2] The game was officially released on December 14, 2007.Wipeout Pulse is broadly similar to other games in the Wipeout franchise, and indeed to other racing games as a whole. The player drives futuristic hovering vehicles powered on a series of race tracks which they must navigate, and sometimes other vehicles to compete against. They are aided in this endeavor by the traditional Wipeout arsenal of weaponry and bursts of speed.

A major benefit to be gained from owning a PSP is that even if the batteries become completely drained once placed on charge the user can start playing games againThe PSP also allows you MP3 music on it. Although it comes with a good set of headphones when listening to music on your PSP you may prefer to get a good set of audio ones to use with it instead.
