Spectators are admitted free of charge to the championship grounds. The clubhouse has restricted access and proper credentials are required. Each player will receive a personalized badge and may also receive four clubhouse guest credentials upon request at Player Registration or by stopping by the Championship Office.

Players will receive one parking pass, if needed, for Nassau Country Club ’s clubhouse parking lot. Please remember to display the parking pass in your car at all times, as you will be unable to access the clubhouse lot without it.

Family members or friends not arriving with the player must park at General Parking, conveniently located at Glen Cove High School, 150 Dosoris Lane, Glen Cove, NY 11542.

There is no charge for parking and a complimentary shuttle is provided. A parking pass will not be needed. Shuttles are ADA compliant, air conditioned motor coaches.

For those attendees driving to the CLUB, HOTEL or GENERAL PARKING, directions are provided below:

From the Long Island Expressway, take Exit 39 to Glen Cove Road, heading toward Glen Cove.

to: nassau Country Club

1.) Proceed on Glen Cove Road for approximately five miles, bearing right at the fork onto Cedar Swamp Road.

2.) Proceed on Cedar Swamp through town; two lights past the railroad tracks turn right onto Pearsall Avenue. (St. Patrick’s Church is on the right-hand corner.)

3.) Proceed straight (do not bear left) to the stop sign (at RR Crossing).

4.) After the stop sign, drive straight toward the railroad station and bear right at the curve in the road; the golf course will be on your right side.

5.) This becomes St. Andrews Lane; the entrance to the club will be on your right. The club address is 30 St. Andrews Lane, Glen Cove, NY 11542.

to: the Glen Cove mansion hotel

1.) Proceed on Glen Cove Road for approximately 6.3 miles. End of road. Fire house is straight ahead.

2.) Turn right onto Glen Cove Avenue (becomes Brewster St., then School St).

3.) At approximately one half mile, turn left onto Dosoris Lane (school on corner).

4.) Proceed .9 miles to hotel on right. The hotel address is 200 Dosoris Lane, Glen Cove, NY 11542.

Proceed as to hotel, except High School is at 150 Dosoris Lane, Glen Cove, NY 11542 (before hotel on right).

In order to identify themselves as members of the championship field, when on site, players will be required to wear the championship player’s badge issued at Player Registration.

Players may also receive up to four player guest credentials, which provide clubhouse access to family members or guests. These credentials must be worn whenever the guests are on site.

Please remember caddie credentials will NOT provide access to the clubhouse. If you have brought a caddie with you to the event and you wish for him or her to have access to the clubhouse, you will need to provide him or her with a player guest credential.

The U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship entry form states: “Players must be neat in appearance with respect to personal grooming and clothing.”

Please use good judgment in your choice of attire. Players are asked to be considerate of Nassau Country Club’s dress code.

There are no limitations to the locations on site in which players may use the data function for texting, emailing, etc. However, we ask that the players avoid making or accepting phone calls when dining in the championship buffet area and on the championship practice range. Players may make or accept phone calls when in the parking lot or the locker room. Players should remember to deactivate the phone ringer and all other sound functions when using their phone at the championship.

If you require a change to your practice round starting time, please contact Nassau Country Club at 516.759.3020. Information regarding championship starting times and scoring is available at www.usga.org. Questions for the USGA (ex. starting times for championship rounds, withdrawal notifications, rules inquiries, scoring information, etc.) should be directed to the USGA Office at 908.326.1183.

The Practice Range and Short Game Facility are open one hour and 30 minutes prior to the first tee time and remain open for one hour following the completion of play. Use of practice facilities will end once you have completed your play in the championship.

Lockers will be available and assigned to all players for use during the championship. In addition, shoe cleaning and spike replacement will be available for $8 per service.

usGa players’ reception , saturday, aug. 2, 6:30 p.m. - 9 p.m.The USGA cordially invites all players to be our guests at the 114th U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship Players’ Reception, to be held at Nassau Country Club on Saturday, Aug. 2 at 6:30 p.m. Although there will be no formal seating, hearty portions of dinner fare will be available. Dress is casual or golf attire. All players, friends and families are invited to attend. Players will attend at no charge, compliments of the USGA, and space will be held for them until the end of Player Registration, where they will have the opportunity to confirm whether they will attend. All other guests may attend at a charge of $50 per guest. Guest tickets must be paid for at Player Registration and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

nassau Country Club welcome party , sunday, aug. 3, 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.On Sunday, Aug. 3, players and USGA officials are invited to a Welcome Party hosted by Nassau Country Club at 6 p.m. Dress is smart casual or golf attire. Players will attend at no charge, compliments of Nassau Country Club. All others may attend at a charge of $50 per guest. Beer, wine and cocktails are included. Guest tickets may be paid for at Player Registration and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Shuttle service will be provided to/from the Glen Cove Mansion and General Parking located at Glen Cove High School.

scoreboard barbecue, tuesday, aug. 5, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.On Tuesday, Aug. 5, a barbeque meal will be available beginning at 6:30 p.m. for those who would like to attend. The price for players, family members and guests will be$15 per person and can be paid the evening of the event. Beer, wine and cocktails will be available for an additional charge.

Complimentary Shuttle service will be provided to/from Glen Cove Mansion and General Parking located at Glen Cove High School. The last departure from Nassau Country Club is 9:49 p.m. for Evening Social Functions.

eVeninG soCial FunCtions

Breakfast and lunch will be served daily in the clubhouse. Players will pay $10 for the hot and cold breakfast buffet; $7 for continental (cold) breakfast buffet. The hot and cold lunch buffet is $14; $10 for cold lunch buffet only.

Player family members and guests with clubhouse access will also be able to dine at the buffet for the same rate as the players. Cash or credit cards will be acceptable forms of payment. Temporary charge accounts will NOT be created.

Nassau Country Club will provide transportation from the club or Glen Cove Mansion to LaGuardia International Airport (LGA) for players and their guest(s) upon their departure from the championship. Players must reserve seats on these shuttles at least six hours prior to their departure, but you may make your departure reservation as early as you would like by calling Delux Transportation at 800.232.3358.

When calling, please communicate the number of individuals traveling with you on the shuttle. This will allow Delux Transportation to arrange for an appropriate vehicle to cover the route. Players must identify themselves as a 2014 U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship player and provide their name when making the reservation. Nassau Country Club or USGA will NOT make your reservation for you.

Transit time from Nassau Country Club or Glen Cove Mansion to LaGuardia International Airport is approximately 45 minutes at most times. It is suggested that you build in additional time during rush hour traffic. Family members and guests traveling separately from the player are asked to arrange and pay for their own transportation to the airport.

Taxi service is also available from either the club or Glen Cove Mansion. Taxi company phone numbers are available below. Please remember that taxi companies need lead time to respond to a call for a ride at either the club or Glen Cove Mansion.

The Championship Committee would like to sincerely thank North Shore LIJ Health System for providing medical support for the championship by equipping and staffing the Medical Headquarters. Physical therapy services will be provided by SoundSide Physical Therapy.

The Medical HQ will be located near the Driving Range. It will open one hour prior to the first starting time and close approximately 30 minutes after the last group or pairing finishes. Emergency medical personnel will also roam the golf course.

During your time on site, if you witness an individual who requires medical attention or if you are in need of medical attention yourself, please communicate the location and any details of the medical issue to the nearest championship volunteer or USGA representative with a radio and the medical team will respond immediately.

If you require medical attention prior to or following your round of golf, please visit the Medical HQ. The medical committee is available to treat acute medical situations or provide preventative services (ex. wrapping of wrists, ankles, etc.).

Should you require follow-up care after being treated at the championship, the staff at the Medical HQ can provide assistance in scheduling the appropriate appointment.

Nassau Country Club and the USGA are committed to providing a positive user-friendly experience for all spectators with disabilities and is pleased to provide the following services:

• Handicap-accessibleshuttleswillbeavailablefromtheGeneralParkingLotlocatedat Glen Cove High School. Shuttle buses are ADA compliant.

• Alimitednumberofmotorizedscooterswillbeavailable,onafirst-come, first-served basis, for spectators with disabilities, compliments of the USGA and Pride Mobility. In order to use the scooters, spectators will be required to complete a liability waiver. The scooters will be distributed out of the Transportation and Information Tent located on the front circle of the clubhouse at the main entrance to the championship.

lost and FoundLost and Found will be at the club’s Championship Office located in the Paddle Tennis Hut, near the Calamity Jane Halfway House and Short Game Practice Area.

Championship ConcessionsConcessions will be available at the Calamity Jane Halfway House located next to Hole 10 tee. A water station will be located at the middle of the golf course near Hole 12 tee.

Concessions will operate during practice rounds and championship play, Friday, Aug. 1 through Sunday, Aug. 10.

The toast to the champion is held following completion of play on Sunday, Aug. 10 on the Great Lawn and terrace. All welcome.

Please note that the USGA reserves the right to alter the schedule of play. If changes are required for any reason, most commonly delays caused by inclement weather, the USGA will inform players of revised times. In addition, match play times are subject to change for reasons other than delays caused by inclement weather. Players should NOT use this schedule as a final reference for match-play starting times, but should confirm the starting time for their next day’s match at the Championship Scoreboard or on the USGA website, www.usga.org.

When the field is cut for match play, the USGA will provide a phone number for players to call to confirm their starting time the next day. Pairings will also be sent to the Glen Cove Mansion and available on the USGA website, www.usga.org.
