Page 3: Platte Christian Reformed Church - Amazon S3...O may we ever praise Him with heart and life and voice, And in His blissful presence eternally rejoice.” On this day we call Palm Sunday,

So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him,

crying, “Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord,

even the King of Israel!” John 12:13

WELCOME!

“Hosanna in the highest! That Ancient Song we sing!

For Christ is our Redeemer, the Lord of Heaven, our King,

O may we ever praise Him with heart and life and voice,

And in His blissful presence eternally rejoice.”

On this day we call Palm Sunday, we welcome each one who

worships here with sincere heart. May your worship be

genuine and may He indeed be your King, too. We invite

everyone to join us after the morning worship service for

refreshments and a time of fellowship.

Children aged 3-5 meet your teacher, in the foyer during the

offering this morning for Children’s Church.

ABOUT OUR MESSAGES

The second part of Acts comes to a close with the story of King

Herod in Acts 12:1-24. Though it can appear that earthly

powers are getting the best of God, at the end of the day, His

Word continues to grow and, in this story, we see clearly “The

Gory End of a Glory Thief.”

This evening, please join the community churches at Olive

Presbyterian Church. For the last in our Lenten services at 6

PM. Rev. Joel Davis will give the message “Anointed by God”.

You are encouraged to join for Good Friday worship, this

Friday at 7:00 PM. We will celebrate the sacrament of

communion together.
