The Advanced Semiconductor Technology Conference (ASTC) is designed to serve the Southeast Asia semiconductor industry through the sharing of information focused on the development of technology innovations advancing semiconductor design and manufacturing.
ASTC will bring together industry experts and professionals with expertise in electronics and semiconductor technologies for smart manufacturing and smart healthcare. Each of these areas will be the focus of a full day of this two-day conference.
Day 1: Smart Manufacturing
The key focus of this forum is to provide the audience with an understanding of current solutions, major challenges and perspectives facing Smart Manufacturing, parallel to a paradigm shift in manufacturing trend from low-mixed high volume to high-mixed low volume. Specifically, it would outline the needs of foundries and OEM providers, as well as identify the technology challenges and opportunities to meet these requirements in the most cost-efficient way as the economy moved towards an IoT enabled Smart Manufacturing era.
Day 2: Smart Healthcare
The gathering, processing, analyzing and seamless sharing of real-time health data among the healthcare ecosystem are expected to bring about paradigm shift in the quality of care-giving, rehabilitation, wellness and prevention. Advances in semiconductor and information technologies are accelerating this transformation towards smart manufacturing. Against a backdrop of understanding technology needs and challenges for building wearable, implantable, portable healthcare devices for future clinical, home-based and mobile diagnostic and monitoring applications, this forum will delve into various technology components - novel devices and materials for smart sensors, ultra-low power circuits, energy-efficient cognitive computing, data analytics, robust data security technologies, and, advanced semiconductor packaging, that are essential for the development of future healthcare devices.
