For over forty years, Plasti-Fab has been supplying composite FRP Gates for highly corrosive water environments. All Plasti-Fab Gates totally encapsulate the internal reinforcing structure. All composite Gates offer high corrosion resistance, low maintenance, and no need for wall thimbles due their reduced weight characteristics. In addition, they are non-conductive, non-magnetic, and non-binding. Composite FRP material is pound-for-pound much stronger than steel. Gates are engineered and built to order.

Plasti-Fab Parshall Flumes have a wide flow range, providing the ability to capture variable low and peak flow readings in a single location. They range from 1-inch to 15-foot throat sizes, and provide great resolution. Integral Gages are included. Fully customizable applications include Nested and Staged Flumes, Magic Bottoms, Inlet & Outlet Adapters, Wingwalls & Bulkheads, along with a full range of accessories.

Plasti-Fab Palmer-Bowlus Flumes have a wide-throat and short-length, making them ideal for pipe hookups. They are economical and easy to install in manholes and pipelines. The sizes range from 4-inch to 72-inch throats, and they have a high submergence tolerance. Integral gages are included. Fully customizable applications include Nested Flumes, Insert Flumes, Integral Approaches, and Bulkheads, along with a full range of accessories.

Plasti-Fab Trapezoidal Flumes are low profile, and provide excellent low-flow resolution. This provides the ability to obtain repeatable, accurate measurement in flows down to 1 GPM to meet stringent requirements. They fall into two groups, the 60* V, and the larger Trapezoidal Flumes. Integral gages are included. Fully customizable applications include Adapters with Pipe Stubs or Caulking Collars, and Access Boxes, along with a full range of accessories.

Plasti-Fab H Flumes have the widest flow range, and a high tolerance for velocity. This means that they have a useable range of more than 100:1, making them ideal for applications such as storm water measurement. They range in size from 0.4 to 4.5 feet in depth. Fully customizable applications include End Walls for Approach with Pipe Stub or Caulking Collar or staged to bolt to a vault wall, and Tranquilizing Racks, along with a full range of accessories.

Troughs & Weir Plates

Plasti-Fab fiberglass Launders and Backwash Troughs are designed for clarifiers and gravity filter systems in water and wastewater treatment plants. These long lasting Troughs are available in a wide range of sizes with flat or rounded bottoms. Weir Plates and Scum Baffles are available for FRP or concrete Troughs.

Flow ModerationPlasti-Fab has a variety of Flow Moderation Products designed for corrosive environments. Composite FRP products offer a low-cost, long-lasting alternative to metal and concrete products, are pound-for-pound much stronger, and require less cleaning and maintenance.

Diversion Manhole

The Manhole and composite Gates are fabricated into an integral unit at the Plasti-Fab factory for a fast and simple installation on site. Gates can be hand-pull or lift operated.

Energy Absorbing

An energy absorbing plate calms the velocity of the incoming flow. The integral wing walls then funnel the lower velocity water into the exit pipe to continue on to a flume, or downstream system, at a slower velocity.

STORM Manhole

Plasti-Fab designed this unique system to trap incoming solids in removable baskets, and to separate oil and water. Baskets are removable, and easy to maintain. Manholes can be provided with baskets and oil/water separators individually, or together.

Skimmers

Composite Scum Skimmers are available for existing and new basin applications. Plasti-Fab is experienced in designing systems for diverse installation criteria, and will provide that knowledge and expertise on every project.

Floating Decanters

Plasti-Fab Manhole Barrels are watertight, one-piece construction, with an integral bottom. They weigh less than 10% of comparable concrete manholes, and are extremely resistant to chemicals, saltwater, corrosive soils, ground water, and electrolysis. Manhole bottoms are a dual-layer construction to prevent oil canning, and provide a flat installation surface.

PMM tops may be designed for steel covers to meet H-20 highway loading, with hinged FRP lids and locking hasps, aluminum for water/gas tight applications, or customized. The Manhole interior is premium grade marine white gel coat that provides a smooth non-porous surface to resist bacteria for a cleaner workspace, and to allow for maximum illumination.

All hardware is heavy-duty stainless steel. Anchor tabs are mechanically fastened to the barrel to ensure a secure installation. Pipe stubs are built to match the ID and OD of the mating pipe. Invert elevations can be adjusted to meet the changes in elevation of the pipe in the field. Manholes can be fully customized with a full range of accessories.

The Plasti-Fab Packaged Metering Manhole (PMM) was an industry first, and remains the most complete and easy-to-install flow measurement package on the market. The full range of flumes may be integrally molded into the PMM, along with inlet and outlet adapters, pipe stubs, and monitoring accessories for a complete package.

Mag Metering Manholes

Plasti-Fab Magnetic Flow Meter (Mag Meter) Manholes provide the same benefits as the PMMs using a Mag Meter instead of a Flume. Customer supplied Mag Meters are expertly installed at Plasti-Fab, making the field installation quicker and more convenient.
