Shutter MaterialsWe have the UK’s largest of shutters materials.There are 6 materials to choose from, each onewith its own benefits, as follow:
Craftwood MDF
A premium clean straight-grained wood that is uniform in colour and chosen for itsstability and proven resistance to warping.
Silkwood
It is a hardwearing, cost-effective painted MDF which provides the shutter with amore natural finish than the Craftwood product.
Hardwood
Hardwood offers great value for money with fantastic build quality as it combinesan MDF frame with hardwood shutter panels.
White Teak
It is the finest quality timber and is of a beautiful silvery colour with tight grains andhigh dimensional stability.
Pearlwood
It is manufactured from premium hardwoods and Paulownia tree. These high qualitywoods are beautiful and stable timbers.
Permawood
Permawood is a waterproof shutter and it is ideal for bathroom and wet roomenvironments. It also benefits rom a hard ABS coating.

If one of the colours in our standard range does notmatch your scheme, custom colour matching (for asurcharge) is available in Pearlwood and White Teak only.
We use different paint brands to try to match your custom colour so if you provide us a swatch of the colour of your choice, it is very likely we can match it using electronic eye.

Track SystemsTrack systems are generally used for arge wide windows, where more thanthe recommended number of panelsare required to cover the window.

Bi-fold Track System
The mulitple panels on the track can then be bi-foldedback to either or both sides at a 90° angle to the trackopening solution.

Bypass Track System

Tilt Rods
Our tilt rods are securely fastenedusing machined staples to providea robust device with which to openand close the louvres. We can also offer you a choice in thepositioning of your tilt rod. Tilt rods can be centred or offset to theleft or right (usually used for shaped panels).

Silent Til Rod
For a more minimalist look, youcan choose to have no tilt rod,at an additional cost. The louvresare connected internally within the stile of the panel, you moveone louvre and they move simultaneously. This is available in allthe slat widths except the 47mm louvre.

Room DarkeningWe can also supply shutters with built in pleatedblinds to create near black out conditions andmaxiumum light reduction.
Ideal for use in bedrooms in order to minimise light pollution, a double layeredhoneycomb blind is built in to the fixing frame of the shutter, running verticallybehind the panels and operates with a cord, just like a venetian/roller blind.
