Plantation Drive 1: Organized on 25.08.2019

Brief Report:

A Plant Distribution and Plantation Drive on "One Student-One Tree" was organised for IGNOU Students of

Venue: SC 23140 at Bhawani Niketan PG Boys College Jaipur on 25.08.2019. The programme was

coordinated by Dr. Indu Ravi, Asst Regional Director, RC Jaipur.

Plants were distributed to about 50 Students of the college. The Co-ordinator Dr. Kuldeep Singh, SC 23140

along with Part Time Staff was also present. On the occasion, Dr. Mamta Bhatia, Regional Director

addressed the students and took a pledge to plant more and more trees and take care of them. Two Kadamb

trees (Neolamarckia cadamba) were planted by Dr. Mamta Bhatia, Regional Director and Dr. Indu Ravi,

Asst Regional Director and Dr. Kuldeep Singh, Coordinator, SC 23140 in the Botanical garden of the

college.

Plantation Drive 2: Organized on 23.08.2019

Brief Report:

A Plant Distribution and Plantation Drive on "One Student- One Tree" was organised for IGNOU Students of

SC 23153 at ISIM, Mansarovar, Jaipur on 23.08.2019. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Indu Ravi,

Asst Regional Director, RC Jaipur.

Plants were distributed to about 125 IGNOU Students. The Co-ordinator & Principal of SC 23153. ISIM,

Jaipur along with Part Time Staff and Academic Counsellors of SC 23153 were also present. The Regional

Director, Dr. Mamta Bhatia on the occasion addressed the gathering and asked all to take a pledge to plant the

distributed trees and take care of them as they take care of themselves. Two plants were also planted by Dr.

Mamta Bhatia, Regional Director, Dr. Indu Ravi, Asst Regional Director and Dr. Manju Nair, Coordinator at

the venue SC 23153.

Plantation Drive 3: Organized on 20.08.2019

Brief Report:

A Plant Distribution and Plantation Drive on "One Student- One Tree" was organised for IGNOU Students of

SC 2355 at Keshav Vidhyapeeth, Post Graduate Agrasen College, Jaipur on 20.08.2019 to save the

Environment and Preserve through Plantation drive, theme of this Program was One Student, One Tree. The

programme was coordinated by Sh. Sher Singh, Asst Regional Director & Sh. Kamlesh Meena, Asst Regional

Director RC Jaipur.

Plants were distributed to about 20 IGNOU Students. The Co-ordinator & Principal of SC 2355 along with

Part Time Staff and Academic Counsellors of SC 2355 were also present.

Plantation Drive 4: Organized on 17.08.2019

Brief Report:

A Plant Distribution and Plantation Drive on "One Student- One Tree" was organised at Govt. College, Sikrai,

Dausa on 17.08.2019. The Principal of Govt. College along with Staff of the college was also present. Dr.

Rammurti Meena, Asst Regional Director coordinate the activity.

Plantation Drive 5: Organized on 17.08.2019

Brief Report:

A Plant Distribution and Plantation Drive on "One Student- One Tree" was organised at Saini P.G. College

Bandikui, Dausa on 17.08.2019. The Principal of Govt. College along with Staff of the college was also

present. Dr. Rammurti Meena, Asst Regional Director coordinates the activity.

Plantation Drive 6: Organized on 14.08.2019

Brief Report:

A Plant Distribution and Plantation Drive on "One Student- One Tree" was organised at Dr. Bhimrao

Ambedkar Govt. College Mahua, Dausa SC 23154 on 14.08.2019. Plants were distributed to about 20

IGNOU Students. Dr. Charan Singh, Co-ordinator, SC 23154 along with Part Time Staff were also present.

Dr. Rammurti Meena, Asst Regional Director coordinates the activity.

Plantation Drive 7: Organized on 14.08.2019

Brief Report:

A Plant Distribution and Plantation Drive on "One Student- One Tree" was organised at IGNOU SC 23133,

Govt. College Baran on 08.08.2019. Plants were distributed to about 10 IGNOU Students. Dr. K.M.

Meena, Co-ordinator SC 23133 along with Part Time Staff were also present. Dr. Rammurti Meena, Asst

Regional Director coordinates the activity.

Plantation Drive 8: Organized on 26.07.2019

Brief Report:

The office of the Regional Centre, Jaipur was organized a Tree plantation and distribution programme in

collaboration with the Save Environment Group of the Area in nearby Kalpana Chawla Park, Mansarovar,

Jaipur. Dr. Mamta Bhatia, Regional Director, addressed the gathering regarding the environment and

importance of plantation. She emphasized that it is the responsibility of every citizen to contribute towards

environment by planting at least two-three plants in a year.

All Assistant Regional Directors, Assistant Registrar and all other staff members of RC Jaipur were also

participated in the programme. Plants of different types like Neem tree, Alstonia Scholaris, Jambul Tree etc

were planted around the park. Plants were also distributed to all staff members and people of the neighbouring

area to motivate them for planting at their workplace and residences.
