Directions
After leaving Gifford, at the top of the road splits into three. One road leads to East Saltoun, one to Gifford Golf Club, the other to Longyester. Take the left hand turn. Following signs to Longyester farm turn right and follow the road for about a mile. Pishwanton Community Wood is on the right hand side of the road. You will notice a large wooden shed and the turf roof of our craft workshop. Please park in the car park provided, which is a hundred metres further up the road from these buildings.

Venue: Pishwanton Wood, a place to learn Goethean Science in the English speaking world in the College for Goetheanism.
Cost: £300 including a soup and roll lunch and tea
breaks with refreshments (Concession £275).
Promotion: Bring a friend – course reduction of £25 (£275 in total).

This 5 day intensive seminar is aimed at
Goethean scientists, doctors, healers,
therapists, those with a previous experience of
working with the Goethean method. We will
be turning our attention to working in
exquisite detail with one plant to deepen our
understanding of natural phenomenon and
ourselves.
There will be focus group discussion work as
well as individual work to share findings with
the group. We will be exploring different
pharmacy and alchemical methods to
capturing the plant’s essence in novel
medicinal preparations. Be prepared for
deep encounters with Nature and self.

The Teachers
Maureen Robertson co-founded with her husband Keith The Scottish School of Herbal Medicine and the Drimlabarra Herb Farm on the isle of Arran (Scotland).
Situated at the southern end of one of Scotland’s most beautiful and accessible islands, Keith and Maureen offer practical herbal medicine courses, individual herbal well being consultations and workshops in sustainable living. Established in 2000 by these two world recognised Tradicional Medical Herbalists, the farm is run on Veganic/ Stockfree lines.
Dr Margaret Colquhoun is a biologist with a long-life experience in the teaching of Goethean Science. Holding
degrees from the University of Edinburgh and having been trained in Goethean Science in the Carl Gustav Carus Institute in Germany an din the Natural Science Section at the Goetheanum in Switzerland Dr Colquhoun is one of the leading teachers for Goethean Science in the English speaking world.
