Planning for magazine cover

For the Location for magazine front cover photography it would be simple to chose places because just like my Poster shoot I want a plan background so the actress is the main focus. Also like the poster shoot I would like the location to be dark and to have no natural lightening, this is so I can use my own lights to create dramatic shadows and to focus the light on certain parts. For example I would like the necklace to be in the photo as it is a big part of the narrative, so with the lighting I would shine it on to the necklace to make it glisten, this would make it stand out and make it a main feature you see on the front cover.I would use places within school as it is cost effective, less time consuming and easy to find a place of my demands, I would use a empty class room with no window or with blinds or I could use the class room in the evening when it is dark.OrBehind the stage where it has no natural lightening at anytime during the day so I could use this anytime this would be good to fit around a schedule. The stage also has a big white canvas which I would use for the plain background I wanted.

For the photograph I would like to use just one character because I don’t the magazine to be as revealing as the poster would be using props and the three actors. I have chosen to use the femme fatal because she is the main character out of the three main people, she metals with both men and course the trouble. Also it gives the magazine sex appeal because the femme fatal is very flirty and in control, girls will see her and idolise her and men will see her and fancy her, this makes the magazine attractive. By using the femme fatal on the front cover it allows me to get a close up on her face showing of the necklace (which is a big part of the narrative).
