How did we get here
• 2006 standardized planning and scheduling using in house excel tool
• 2012 implemented AKWIRE with Maximo 7.1• 2017 moved to AKWIRE 2016 with Maximo 7.6

• Getting time to test from our users was a challenge – competing priorities

UI Roles• UI Roles allow you identify what icons are
visible on the screen, which right click menus are available, what buttons can be seen
• Users can change their own UI Role• Allows users to grow into more advanced
capabilities when ready

Export to Excel Template• Allows users to create templates in Excel and
the data is exported directly into the template
• Empowers the user to make changes whenever necessary
• Allows other data tabs to reference the data tab
