Classroom Management•We will be using a checkbook system to help us monitor behavior in our classroom.

•Each child will begin the six-week grading period with $25.00. Each six-weeks, the child will get to “start fresh” with a new checkbook and balance.

•Dollars may be added for positive behaviors that exceed expectations.

•Dollars may be subtracted for behaviors that do not meet expectations.

•Behaviors will be documented in the checkbook.

•If the student has to deduct a dollar, there will be a conversation held between the teacher and student. The student will be given the opportunity to practice the correct behavior.

•Students will be able to purchase rewards at designated times throughout the six-week period for certain amounts of “money”.
