Introduction

This introduction is written in honor of Dr. Rosalie Bertell and her work, and I am writing in

her native language. In 2010, we founded the PMME in order to distribute her knowledge

throughout the world.

Most of the contributions to this special issue are written in English as well, some in German,

one in Spanish and one in Italian.

On this occassion, we proudly announce the publication of two books on the topic in English:

1. Rosalie Bertell: Planet Earth. The Latest Weapon of War,

enhanced edition, Talma 2020, Dublin

The republishing of Bertell´s original book is a real victory of the PMME. In fact, it can be

considered her main birthday present! After its first publication in 2000, this book was

never distributed as the publisher, Women´s Press, London, went bankrupt. The new edition

is enhanced by additional articles Rosalie wrote between 2000 and 2011, until shortly before

her death in 2012, and the book is practically the first one, in the original language!

For the first time, this book can now be read in English. In this way, it is accessible to

international readers throughout the entire world!

We, at PMME, have fought for many years to get Dr. Bertell's book published in English again

– and then we met Patrick Pasin, from Talma Studios, Paris, France. He knew Rosalie and

made a movie with her, titled: „Bye, bye, blue sky!“, wrote himself two books on the issue

and published Bertell's work for the first time in the French language!

It is also Patrick Pasin who offered us to publish the second book that we can announce

today:

In this book, 10 women from Europe and the Americas, including Rosalie Bertell, as this

collection contains also an article written by her in 2010, are analyzing from very different

perspectives what is happening to Mother Earth today and what this means to us, the people

living on and with her. Its contributors are: Vilma Almendra from Colombia, Rosalie Bertell

from USA/Canada, Josefina Fraile from Spain, Elana Freeeland from USA, Maria Heibel from

Italy, Claire Henrion from France, Conny Kadia from Portugal, Kaarina Kailo from Finland, Linda

Leblanc from Cyprus, and myself from Austria/Germany.

The title of the book refers to the wrong and misleading discourse on ”global warming“ that

in the meantime has been established from above in order to make invisible what Rosalie

Bertell, and others after her, have analyzed for the first time. The new discourse on ”climate

change“ can now be publicly dismantled and be confronted with the facts about what is really

going on. If we want to maintain our living conditions on this earth, we the people, have to

approach this and begin to rebuild her wellbeing that is being damaged to the degree of even

wrecking this planet!

At the moment of our birthday as PMME, the German version of Dr. Bertell's book went

into its 5th edition. In 2018/2019, a Spanish, an Italian and a French edition appeared as

well.

Within 10 years we have reached a point at which we can say: We have done our best to get

Rosalie Bertell´s knowledge distributed in the world. In addition, we have contributed to this

with our Information-Letters in different languages, public speeches, and the spreading of a

lot of additional information on current debates and facts (www.pbme-online.org).

Why do people not want to know about the violence that is committed against Mother

Earth?

- Is it a taboo to reveal a secret?

One thing, however, has never been understood properly: Dr. Bertell´s knowledge has, so

far, not become the issue of an open public debate. Not only the powers that be, but also

the social movements of today have not allowed this to happen. Very often, people reject

this knowledge right away, because it is shocking to them. A first reaction typically consists

of fleeing from it instead of trying to learn and doing something about it. Most of them

simply deny the possibility that something like „military geoengineering“ may even exist. In

an effort to avoid confronting these facts they grasp the term prepared from above for the

purpose of doing away with this sort of “evil knowledge“ and call it a ”conspiracy theory”!

So, even Rosalie Bertell who was a person beyond any possible suspicion of working at the

levels of conspiracy theories, has been interpreted as such. Obviously, this could not be

further from the truth, but it serves the interests of those who possibly don´t want the truth

to be known.

The truth to be known are the facts about the system we live in, which in itself is based on

different forms of direct and structural violence against life itself, against nature and

against human beings! This truth is a secret and thus it has become a taboo to speak about

these facts. Whenever this taboo is violated, we have observed, there is always a prompt

reaction to stop any further discussion of it.

I have come to the conclusion that the truth about the system we live in, if we want it or not,

is so horrible that nearly everyone tries to avoid seeing it, because otherwise:

- s/he would feel either very uncomfortable, and even guilty, or

- would feel ridiculous by turning out powerless in spite of feeling rather powerful,

instead, and/or

- s/he would suddenly feel deprived of a generally assumed protection of life from

above or elsewhere, causing fear, and/or

- s/he would have to bury his or her assumptions about the validity of the

general ”values“ the system preaches, e.g. rights and justice, freedom and

democracy, or peace and happiness, and/or

- s/he, taking the ”evil knowledge“ seriously, would have to stand up immediately in

order to stop the violence the system is committing against life, nature and humanity.

This, however, is felt as a too heavy burden to take over...

In the meantime we know where this violence of our ”system“, our modern civilization, is

based on. It is rooted in the system of ”patriarchy“, as I call it. The intention of patriarchy is

to change all of life, nature and humanity, in fact the entire society into a ”man-made“,

artificial one, i.e. not allowing life to exist any longer in its organic ways on this Planet earth,

and in natural and motherly ways. The man-made world is by definition a pater-arché one, a

”creation“ of so-called fathers instead of of mothers and Mother Nature. In order to reach

this patri-archal utopia, which, by the way, is several thousands of years old, in its course

much violence has already been applied, indeed. This violence has turned into a trauma, and

at the same time, it is considered forbidden knowledge and is suppressed. It has been

hidden on all levels and cannot possibly be addressed openly! As long as this patriarchal

civilization has not succeeded in transforming life, nature, humans, the whole world – and

the Planet itself – into a completely man-made, patri-archal world, violence will continuously

be applied as a necessary means of achieving its dangerous goals. It is for these reasons that

people are not allowed to recognize the direct and structural violence inherent in the

system!

This mental paradox is the secret of patriarchy. Because, the patriarchal narrative tells us

there is no violence, the transformation-process from the natural to the artificial is one to

the better and higher. Today it is called progress!

The taboo consists of revealing the violence applied in its course to an allegedly better and

higher world, so that this world may not appear anymore as the better and higher one, given

the price of destruction paid for it.

The secret to be revealed tells us that violence does not lead to better and higher worlds

at all, but to what it produces – namely destruction! Destruction is the overall outcome of

this ”alchemical“ – as I call it – transformation process by violence. This is its logic, and

nobody is allowed to see it and to name it. Reflecting about the patriarchal violence against

nature, the earth, life and the people, seeing it and speaking about it, not to mention acting

against it – these are the heaviest taboos in this patriarchal system. This is the ”evil“

knowledge, the forbidden one, the forgotten one, the knowledge driven into the

underground and thus made subconscious! I call it the ”collective subconscious“. As we all

have experienced patriarchal violence, we recognize at once, perhaps unconsciously, when it

comes to its revelation! We are panicking with it, because then danger is near and has to be

averted. We have to protect ourselves against the danger of meddling with patriarchal

systemic violence which would destroy us! Everyone seems to know it, because nearly

everybody reacts the same way, when it happens!

It is clear now how difficult it is to acknowledge what Rosalie Bertell is teaching us. She

teaches us that in the meantime patriarchy, in the form of the military and the MIC, has

started to destroy our very living conditions and the Planet itself! So, we are literally forced

to do something against it if we want to continue living on this earth! This means that we

have to address patriarchy and its systemic, direct and structural violence, running the risk of

becoming the ones who break the taboo, revealing and naming the secret!

Personal experience with breaking the taboo

My own experience with this syndrome of avoidance and fear that we can see today also in

the case of the worldwide Coronavirus Crisis, however, has resulted in the founding of the

PMME! It went like that:

For speaking in a newspaper-Interview about the necessity to do research about a possible

crime that led to the death of a quarter of a million people – the Haitian earthquake in 2010

- I have not only been immediately defined as a ”conspiracy theorist“. In addition, I was

publicly ”murdered“ and discredited, robbed of my good reputation as an academic, an

activist, a person and a woman. I was threatened by the Deep State and the Institute for

Political Science at the University of Innsbruck where I had worked for more than 20 years.

Furthermore, the official Austrian media threatened me, being instructed from above, as I

was told by a whistleblower. I lost many of my friends, even very old ones, in the left wing,

the green and the alternative movements, even in matriarchal groups in Germany and

Austria, with whom I had been working for many years. I lost publishers I used to work with,

and I was never again invited for interviews or talks in the official and most alternative

media. This violence against me as the ”messenger of an inconvenient truth“ can still be

seen in Wikipedia where all the mocking of me and my questions about Haiti is still railing.

This is an indication of the deep hatred of the patriarchal system against life and truth, i.e.

the true facts that are emerging in this way. It shows its need to cover them up, as quickly

and as brutally as possible, by using its paid defenders.

This experience changed my life, as I did not run away or went into hiding regretting my

alleged mistake. There was still another experience that changed my life as well. It happened

when I knew about Rosalie Bertell. This occurred because of the conflicts around Haiti, and

she sent me a letter and stood at my side. Rosalie Bertell knew about the character of the

accusations that follow from touching taboos such as the one mentioned, because the

powerful military is behind them. She sent me a copy of her ”Planet Earth. The Latest

Weapon of War“, in which she is describing the entire history of the development of military

technologies that are able to produce not only earthquakes, but also tsunamis, draught,

floodings, heat and cold, changing ocean currents, evoking volcanic eruptions and more. At

that point, I did not have the faintest idea about any of this. The Haitian case had just put me

on the road to this knowledge that was completely alien to me. While reading Bertell´s book,

I fell into a kind of hell, the hell of knowing about the true facts and that I had been right

when I felt ”electrical“ about Haiti, and I knew I had to do something about it. With Rosalie's

research knowledge I learned how to explain what might have truly occurred in Haiti - and

not only that, but much more. I wished that I had been wrong, but I wasn´t.

During these experiences of change in my life, both situations occurring at the same time, I

became ill. When I emerged from hell I had to decide what to do: Either stopping to do

anything at all, or starting anew – and now with exactly those issues the social environment

around me tried to impede. I decided to do the latter one! Otherwise, we would not

celebrate the tenth birthday of the Planetary Movement for Mother Earth in 2020. I chose

this option because there was no alternative. I had felt the same tremors in my body as

Mother Earth must have felt in her body during the earthquake in Haiti. It was as if She was

calling me, and loudly so. She said: ”Yes, you are the one. You have to stand up for me, as

you now know what it feels like what is done to me! Someone has to do it! This is the

moment...“

Knowing already what this choice of mine meant, I began my new life. I informed my friends

overseas who – contrary to those here – were full of solidarity and support, like Rosalie

Bertell. They started a campaign for me that passed through many parts of the world, as I

had done research in earlier years in different places and knew many colleagues and the

social movements in many countries. It was wonderful, and it gave me strength so that I

could move on. The people of Haiti, however, never knew about this debate of their

disastrous experience.

Founding the PMME

At a large women´s Congress in Germany in May 2010, I then spoke about Rosalie Bertell's

research and her book and proposed the founding of the PMME in order to disseminate her

knowledge. Hundreds of women applauded in agreement, and we began organizing it here

in Austria. Especially my former students, Dr. Simone Wörer and Mag. Mathias Weiss have

worked with me continuously over all these years, and many others have supported us. The

first and most important task was to translate Bertell's book from English into German and

publish it. We soon found a very good translator, we got enough donations to pay for his

work, and Rosalie sent us the manuscripts she had written after the first publication of her

book in 2000. However, we could not find a publisher! It was like a boycott that included all

levels, and the possible publishers behaved as if they were threatened and forced not to

publish this book. When we finally found a publisher and succeeded in publishing Bertell's

work in German, a year later, at the end of 2011, there was a second wave of hatred,

discrimination and defamation occurring that appeared to me as if some people wanted to

take revenge for not having been able to prevent us from publishing Bertell's research. So, I

had to swallow this new wave of insulting personal and fierce political attacks resulting in

removing the remaining friendships with people I had been cooperating with before.

In amazing ways, we gained new friends all over the world, always more people and groups

became active with respect to geoengineering issues. We succeeded in reaching our aim of

publishing Bertell's work in German during her lifetime, something she had wished for so

much, as she had German roots. Rosalie Bertell wanted to confront German scientists with

their leading role in inventing weapons against life and the Planet!

Rosalie Bertell was very much aware of the difficulties her work encountered, and she was

rather upset about it. She felt that the issues were very urgent. She considered it an

obligation for us to be with and to fight for Mother Earth, being her children.

Where did Rosalie Bertell gain her power and energy from to do so herself and to go on?

She, who even had experienced two attacks on her life, nevertheless, followed her path

knowing that there was no alternative to it. Her ”dynamo“ surely was her immense and deep

love for Mother Earth, our beautiful fantastic planet that gives us everything we need and is

the only one we have! So, things were very clear for her. And, things should be very clear for

us, as well. Rosalie had developed early on what I call a ”planetary consciousness“.

My experience in these difficult last ten years with the PMME taught me the same. I learned

to love the Earth much more than I could have imagined, I learned about her as a huge

cosmic living being, I learned to literally listen to her, to trust her, and to accept her power as

mine as well! Because, the power to go on with this struggle stems from Her – not from

patriarchy, of course. In these years, I learned that if we want it, we can establish a real

relationship with the earth and ask her: What can we do? What should we do? Please tell us,

what to do, and what not to do – e.g. giving up!

This is the answer to the panic, anxiety and fear that reaches us when we start to speak

about the systemic violence of patriarchy. The time has come to stop this destructive way of

life. The time has come to change from the patriarchal hatred of life towards the love of life

again which is the natural attitude of human beings. The necessity of this change, however,

is not yet part of most people´s consciousness! We have to re-awaken it, so we become

aware and develop a planetary consciousness.

This should be the ”virus”, the ”dis - ease“ that ”contaminates“ us all – to be open for the

power of love for, from and with our Mother Earth! What else? There is no alternative!

New related questions about the future of our civilization

If we look around, we see always more weaponry threatening the earth and life on earth.

Together with a ”weaponization“ by mind control and neuroscience, 5G, artificial

intelligence, e.g. digitization, nano- and biotechnologies, geoengineering belongs to the 4th

Industrial Revolution that is now proclaimed to build our future in the 21st century. These

technologies are already producing ”lock-downs” from above, from space, as well as from

below. They are supposed to use our bodies and brains for it, as well, and it does not seem

as if all of us were supposed to survive this process of literally becoming part of what I call

the „megamachine“. This is what the WEF, the World Economic Forum, one of the most

important Think Tanks of the powers that be, in Switzerland, has openly announced recently.

The problems we are confronting are increasingly related to each other, and the old

negligence towards the question of technology being welcome as „progress“, still pervading

intellectual milieus, has to be given up. There is a need to really look straight into the face of

patriarchy, the intentional destruction of the world and of us human beings as well! The

vaccines against Covid-19 intended to turn us into genetically modified zombies are in the

production process in the pharmaceutical industries everywhere. The Chancellor of Austria

alone has already ordered 8 million portions, exactly the number of this country's

inhabitants!

The following 15th Information-Letter in celebration of our 10th Anniversary as PMME

It entails 13 contributions on the work of Dr. Rosalie Bertell, her research, her relationship

with PMME, general developments regarding the earth and special cases, as well as our

conceptual understanding of nature which builds the foundation for our work.

Contributions were sent from Austria, Canada, Cyprus, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, New

Zealand, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, and the USA.

We are grateful to all of you for your contributions to our celebration, all members of the

International Council of PMME, most authors of ”Global Warning!“, and our publisher.

Some members of the PMME board, however, could not contribute at the moment.

10. Anniversary PMME 2020

In this era of ubiquitous technology, caring about the fate of Mother Earth must include

caring about the fate of technology. As my nation is Technology Central for the military-

industrial-intelligence complex, I have learned to attend to the lies, deception, and

criminality that have usurped the secret space program, which includes geoengineering,

since President John F. Kennedy’s assassination.

Geoengineering technology is classified as national security because it is not just about

“climate change” and weather engineering but is a manifold Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI)

weapon system. Its operations extend to electromagnetics and chemical-biological warfare,

geophysical modification, directed energy weapons, remote AI surveillance and neural

manipulation, digital transmissions of nanotechnology and genetically modified organisms in

5G-armed environments, Transhumanist AI control over genetics, and production of plasma

cloud cover for exotic propulsion craft.

The geoengineering imbroglio is complex. It is a Medusa with quantum nanotechnology

tentacles working their way into Mother Earth and our bodies and brains as we are

increasingly sandwiched between a massive near-Earth orbit (NEO) and wireless ground

infrastructure whose Lockheed Martin moniker is the Space Fence. Even as artificial

intelligence (AI) takes the helm, we must study how to decipher this 21st century technology

bent upon blotting out the starry heavens, replacing Nature with virtual reality (VR), and

laying self-replicating neural networks in bodies and brains to rob present and future

humanity of any vestige of free will. My third and last book on this last culminating move will

be published in autumn 2020

„Kapitalismus, ein Zerstörungsprojekt“, und wer ist eigentlich Rosalie

Bertell?!

Als ich vor über 10 Jahren das erste Mal von Dr. Rosalie Bertell hörte, traf ich auch Prof. Dr.

Claudia von Werlhof das erste Mal. Sie war gerade in Salzburg, um im Freien Radio der Stadt

ein Interview zu geben.

Da ich zu dieser Zeit bereits vages Vorwissen zum Thema Geoengineering und militärische

Wettermanipulation hatte, wurde ich durch das kurz zuvor von Prof. von Werlhof gegebene

Interview in einer der größten Tageszeitungen Österreichs, "Der Standard", hellhörig.

In erster Linie beeindruckte mich das Interview aufgrund seines klaren Blickes auf den

Kapitalismus bzw. die Moderne.

Diese sei von je her ein „Weltzerstörungsprojekt“, welches mithilfe der Propaganda von

einer „schönen, neuen Welt“ und dem „Reichtum für Alle“ mittlerweile den gesamten

Planten, durch die „Umwandlung aller Natur in Waren, Geld, Maschinerie, Hierarchie und

schlussendlich in Kapital“ erstmals in der Geschichte der Menschheit die Erde als ganze an

den Rand des Kollapses bringen würde.

Wenn man sich mit linker Kapitalismuskritik beschäftigt, ist einem eine Diagnose wie diese

noch nicht fremd. Doch die Kritik sollte noch tiefgreifender werden.

Seinen geistigen Ursprung habe diese Entwicklung nicht erst in der Moderne. Doch die

Arbeiterbewegung und die Linke hätten kein Interesse, sich mit der Natur

auseinanderzusetzen. Alle linken Lösungen der Krise beruhten daher auf der Idee des

weiteren „Fortschritts“ auf diesem Weg der Maschine und der modernen Technik, und

führen deshalb „weiter in die Zerstörung des Lebendigen und seine Umwandlung in Totes“ .

Dieses Projekt sei bereits viel früher entstanden, nämlich „mit der Entstehung des

Patriarchats vor 5000 bis 7000 Jahren“, mit dem sich die Idee einer „Schöpfung aus

Zerstörung“ durchgesetzt habe.

Dabei hätten, im Widerspruch zu den tatsächlichen Lebensrealitäten, in denen „weibliche

Gestalten Ursprung des Lebens sind, [...] die Männer begonnen, sich als Schöpfer des Lebens

und des Reichtums zu definieren“ (Werlhof 2010a).

Prof. Werlhof bezeichnete dies als das „alchemistische Prinzip“, welches nach seinem

„Scheitern in der Antike in der Neuzeit als neue Naturwissenschaft“ und generell als

„weltweites Schöpfung-aus-Zerstörung-Programm“ in Erscheinung trat (Werlhof ebenda).

Das war neu! Was für ein Augenöffner.

Es erklärte die historische Tiefe der Zerstörung des Planeten. Das generelle

Transformationsprojekt von Natur in künstlich gemachte (Schein-) Natur ließ den daraus

abgeleiteten Ursprungs- und Herrschaftsanspruch als Grundmoment des Patriarchats als

System erkennen. Das stellte für mich alles auf dem Kopf – vielmehr auf die Füße – was ich

bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt gehört hatte. Endlich stellte jemand die Frage nach dem „Warum-

des -Wie“ und lieferte einen Blick, der weit in die Vergangenheit reichte.

Aber das dicke Ende des Interviews von Prof. Werlhof sollte noch kommen.

Zunächst forderte sie eine Abkehr von der neoliberalen Wirtschaft unter Verweis auf die

Subsistenzproduktion, welche auf dezentrale Selbstversorgung abzielt, und erwähnte dabei

die mexikanischen „Zapatisten“ als wichtigen Impuls für eine Gegenbewegung, welche von

unten, und nicht im Sinne des Systems, wirtschaften müsste.

Um in Europa ein Umdenken einleiten zu können, müsse man von solchen Bewegungen

lernen.

Und darüber hinaus solle nicht weiter das geschehen, was in Haiti geschehen ist. Die

Interviewerin fragte nach: „Sie meinen das Erdbeben?“

„Ja, dass es ein künstlich produziertes Erdbeben gewesen sein könnte.“ setzte Prof. Werlhof

nach.

Damit war offenbar ein Tabu allergrößten Ausmaßen verletzt worden. Denn dass die Erde,

ihre Urkräfte und Naturgewalten von Militärs, Politikern, ja generell den geopolitischen

Machthabern mit Hilfe von neuen Technologien gegen die Menschen und den Planeten

selbst eingesetzt werden könnten, das durfte wohl nicht folgenlos ausgesprochen werden.

Nun könnte man behaupten, das wäre ja nichts Neues, da ja schon seit Jahrzehnten

Militärparaden in sozialistischen Regimen künstlich von Regen freigehalten und im

Vietnamkrieg der Monsun um mehr als 6 Monate, frei nach der Devise „make mud, not

war“, für militärischen Zwecke verlängert wurde (Fleming 2013). Auch schon in Zeiten des

Kalten Krieges wurde von den USA und der UdSSR an elektromagnetischen Technologien

geforscht, um u. a. die klimatischen Bedingungen über dem Feindesland zu beeinflussen (CIA

1960, DeFlores 1960), welche auch oft zum Einsatz kamen (CIA 1978, Lee, Hamblin 2010).

Als Reaktion darauf wurden in der ENMOD Konvention von 1977 sämtliche

umweltverändernden Technologien, wie: „Erdbeben, Tsunamis; eine Störung des

ökologischen Gleichgewichts einer Region; Veränderungen der Wettermuster (Wolken,

Niederschläge, Zyklone verschiedener Art und Tornadostürme); Veränderungen der

Klimaverhältnisse; Veränderungen der Meeresströmungen; Veränderungen des Zustands der

Ozonschicht; und Veränderungen des Zustands der Ionosphäre“ (EMNOD 1977) und andere

Abscheulichkeiten (lediglich) für den langfristigen und militärischen Einsatz verboten.

Das Neue war, dass es mit diesen neuen Technologien erstmals eine globale Bedrohung gibt,

bei welcher es keine Täter mehr zu geben scheint, und es nicht mehr feststellbar ist, ob ein

Schurkenstaat oder doch das eigene Land eine solche Technologie zum Einsatz bringt (vgl.

Alan Robock und der Anruf der CIA www.etcgroup 2015). Folgt man dieser Logik, gäbe es

keine Tabus mehr, vermeintliche Naturkatastrophen künstlich loszutreten, zu lenken oder

sonst zu beeinflussen und vor deren strategischer Anwendung zurückzuschrecken.

Schon Naomi Klein hatte in ihrem Buch „Die Schock Strategie“ von 2007 in ihrer Analyse des

„Katastrophenkapitalismus“ ausgeführt, wie in der neoliberalen Logik der Chicagoer Schule

nach Milton Friedman wirtschaftliche Schocks, die Zerstörung nach geopolitisch-

wirtschaftlich motivierten Angriffskriegen und vor allem nach Naturkatastrophen dazu

genutzt werden, den Sozialstaat abzubauen, radikal zu privatisieren und die Politik des IWF

und der Weltbank weltweit durchzusetzen (Klein 2010).

Das Besondere bei Klein ist, dass es ja u. a. der privatisierte Arm des Militärs ist, welcher mit

der in den militärischen Bereich übersetzen kapitalistischen Profitlogik selbst das eigene

Land (New Orleans/ Hurrikan Katrina) in eine Besatzungszone verwandelte, das dort

installierte „Kriegsrecht“ für deren Interessen missbrauchte und in den zivilen Alltag

überführte. (Eine Situation, welche jetzt auch in der Corona-Krise im Handeln der global

agierenden Big Player, von Pharma-, Handels- bis hin zu Finanz-, Technologie- und

Rüstungsgiganten, zu Tage tritt). Warum also nicht auch die seit Jahrzehnten in „civil-military

partnerships“ im kurzfristigen Einsatz erforschten Technologien (vgl. Leyser 2009) auch für

militärische Zwecke nutzen?

In diesem Kontext verwies Prof. Werlhof auf eine internationale Debatte, in der es darum

ging, ob das Erdbeben in Haiti ein künstlich erzeugtes gewesen sein könnte, da es Hinweise

darauf gab, dass dabei Technologien im Einsatz waren, von denen man wusste, dass sie

Erdbeben bewirken konnten.

Ich bewunderte dabei Ihren Mut, unsere „beste aller Welten“ derartig fundamental zu

kritisieren und dabei auf eine bis dahin tabuisierte und in der Öffentlichkeit unbekannte

Debatte hinzuweisen.

Dieses Denken machte für mich eine Tür auf, die es erlaubte zu erkennen, dass allein die

Möglichkeit der Existenz derart verheerender Technologien in den Händen der Mächtigen

ausreicht, um sie unter militärischer Prämisse im Verborgenen zum Einsatz zu bringen. Dabei

würde der „gute“ technische Fortschritt hinter der „bösen“ Natur versteckt, um die

existenzbedrohenden Beschädigungen des Planeten, seiner Zyklen und Rhythmen und aller

Lebewesen auf ihm ihr in die Schuhe zu schieben. Was für eine Vision für ein Waffensystem,

welches sich hervorragend in die strategischen Konzepte der global agierenden Militärs zur

„full spectrum dominace“ einfügte! Niemand könnte dieses Verbrechen gegen den Planeten

und die Menschen ahnden, und mehr noch wäre es möglich, die „Schöpfung aus Zerstörung“

das erste Mal in der Geschichte der Menschheit auf den gesamten Planeten anzuwenden. Es

wäre somit ein weiterer Schritt auf dem Weg, das Patriarchat zu „vervollständigen“, es

„wahr“ machen und alles natürlich Existente in etwas künstlich Geschaffenes zu verwandeln

zu versuchen, inklusive den Planeten selbst.

Diese Perspektive veränderte mein Leben, und darum wollte ich Prof. Werlhof

kennenlernen.

Als ich Sie am Bahnhof in Salzburg abholte, drückte sie mir ihr neuestes Buch „West-End“ mit

den Worten; „Lesen Sie erstmal das, und dann sprechen wir über Bertell“, in die Hand

(Werlhof 2010b). Ich hatte bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt und während meines gesamten

Soziologie Studiums noch kein einziges Mal von der von Werlhof entwickelten „Kritischen

Patriarchatstheorie“, geschweige denn von etwas anderem als vom Patriarchat als reine

„Hausväter-Ordnung“ gehört, und war von der Weitsichtigkeit, Tiefe und Klarheit der

Analyse des Patriarchats als System (!) im „West-End“ so beeindruckt, dass ich es in Folge

gleich mehrmals hintereinander las.

Und so hörte ich auch das erste Mal von Rosalie Bertell und ihrer Warnung, ihrer „Global

Warning“, vor genau jenen Technologien, vor denen Prof. Werlhof versucht hatte, öffentlich

zu warnen, ohne sie zu diesem Zeitpunkt überhaupt schon genauer zu kennen. Denn erst

nach ihrem Interview kam sie in Kontakt mit Rosalie Bertell und erhielt deren Buch „Planet

Earth. The Latest Weapon of War“, dass damals nicht allgemein zugänglich war. Erst dadurch

erfuhr sie, auf welch dramatische Weise sie Recht gehabt hatte. Sie hatte ihren Ruf aufs Spiel

gesetzt, um zur Wahrheit zu gelangen und darüber eine Diskussion zu entfachen.

Das Ergebnis war, dass sie die Wahrheit erfuhr, ihr Ruf von allen Seiten massiv angegriffen

wurde, aber auch eine internationale Solidaritätskampagne zu ihren Gunsten erfolgte

(Werlhof 2010a). Die Diskussion über das militärische Geoengineering wird jedoch bis heute

verweigert und nicht öffentlich geführt.

Noch 2010 wurde die Planetare Bewegung für Mutter Erde auf einem Frauenkongress in

Deutschland gegründet, um die globale Warnung von Rosalie Bertell zu verbreiten.

Seither ist viel passiert, und wir denken nicht ans Aufhören.

Wir warnen weiter!

Wer war Rosalie Bertell?

"...ich glaube, die Erde ist ein Geschenk. Die Schöpfung ist ein Geschenk. Es ist etwas Schönes, und dieser Planet wurde geschaffen, um darauf zu leben. Ich sehe keinen Sinn darin, ihn zerstören zu wollen, ihn verändern zu wollen, Teile von ihm horten zu wollen. Es gibt mehr als genug für alle, wenn wir teilen können. Und wir können gut leben ohne

all diese Dinge, die wir besitzen. Und es gibt keinen Grund, zurück in die Höhlen zu gehen! Wir sind intelligente Geschöpfe, und ich glaube, wir können uns ein neues Bewusstsein zu eigen machen, das uns hilft, auf eine andere Art zu leben. Ich hoffe, dass diese Waffen uns tief erschrecken werden und wir dadurch verstehen lernen, wie sinnlos und verrückt Krieg ist. Und ich denke, ich hoffe, dass wir lernen werden, miteinander zu leben. Liebe die Vielfalt, genieße die Erde, liebe die Luft, liebe das Wasser, teile alles und freue dich, auf diesem Planeten zu leben..."

Rosalie Bertell - Aus ihrem letzten Interview (1)

Dr. Rosalie Bertell war eine großartige Unterstützerin der Erde und derer, die sie bewohnen. Sie war Wissenschaftlerin, Lehrerin, Pädagogin, Schriftstellerin, Feministin, Friedensaktivistin, politische Aktivistin und zeigte einen mütterlichen Sinn für die gesamte Schöpfung. Aus diesen vielfältigen Rollen entstand ein komplexes und reiches Leben.

Rosalie wurde 1929 in Buffalo, New York, geboren und sagte, sie sei eine amerikanische Kanadierin der vierten Generation, ihre Mutter war Kanadierin.

1951 erwarb sie einen Bachelor of Arts am Marguerite d'Youville College in Buffalo.

Sie trat sehr jung in ein Karmeliterkloster ein wo sie schwere körperliche Arbeit verrichtete und bald einen Herzinfarkt erlitt.

Eine wichtige Vorgeschichte: Bevor sie in dieses Kloster eintreten konnte, musste sie 2.000 Dollar hinterlegen, eine Geldsumme, die ihrer Absicherung dienen sollte, falls sie das Kloster eines Tages wieder verlassen wollte. Es gelang ihr eine bemerkenswerte Arbeit zu finden, um dieses Geld zu verdienen: sie forschte in der technischen Abteilung von 'Bell Aircraft' an den Grundlagen für Raketensysteme. Es war eine neue, seltsame und aufregende Welt für sie. Nach jedem Raketen-Testflug arbeitete sie an der Datenanalyse. "Ich unterstand der FBI-Sicherheitsüberprüfung, ich arbeitete in einem Büro, in dem bewaffnete Leute die Schreibtische auf und ab gingen. Wenn Sie tagsüber Ihren Platz verließen, mussten Sie Ihre Dokumente auf dem Schreibtisch lassen. Unsere Thermosflaschen wurden untersucht am Abend, als wir die Arbeit verließen, sie schauten ob wir Dokumente bei uns hatten." Trotz der Atmosphäre, die wenig entspannt war, scheiterte ihr Idealismus für's Erste nicht. Die Mitarbeiter betrachteten sich als Pioniere, welche Waffen der Zukunft herstellten, gutartige und chirurgisch korrekte Waffen. Die neuen Raketen würden Kriege revolutionieren, indem sie nur auf militärische Ziele abzielen und nie wieder Krankenhäuser oder Schulen treffen würden. "Sie haben es für die Menschheit getan, indem Sie diese Bomben erfunden haben. Und ich habe es geglaubt", sagte Rosalie. (2) Oft hatte sie sich gezwungen gefühlt, ihre mathematischen Fähigkeiten herunterzuspielen. Bei Bell Aircraft hingegen wurde sie für ihre mathematischen Fähigkeiten und ihren Einfallsreichtum gelobt.

In den folgenden Jahren verurteilte Rosalie oft die Art und Weise, mit der so viele begabte junge Menschen für militärisch finanzierte, wissenschaftliche Karrieren kooptiert wurden. Ihre Erfahrungen bei der Arbeit an geheimen High-Tech-Projekten bei Bell haben fraglos ihr Verständnis dafür begünstigt, wie man die jungen Wissenschaftler einfängt: über intellektuelle Herausforderungen, mit Applaus für überlegene Fähigkeiten, mit Täuschungen.

Aber kommen wir zurück zur Zeit des Klosters. Während ihrer Genesung vom Herzinfarkt entdeckte sie, dass sie gerne Mathematik unterrichten würde, und so nahm sie Veränderungen in ihrem Leben vor. Sie schloss ein weiteres Studium an der Katholischen Universität in Mathematik ab.

Im Herbst 1958, im Alter von 29 Jahren, trat sie in den Orden von Youville ein, die Schwestern der Nächstenliebe (bekannt als die Grauen Nonnen des Heiligen Herzens). „Das religiöse Leben war richtig für mich. Meine Familie hat eine lange christliche Geschichte ", erklärte sie vierzig Jahre später in einem Interview mit Donna Jean MacKinnon vom 'Toronto Star' und fügte hinzu: "Religiöses Engagement ist wie eine Ehe: Manchmal gibt es zwischenmenschliche Probleme, aber sie werden gelöst." (3)

Obwohl Rosalie Bertell eine hochkarätige Persönlichkeit des öffentlichen Lebens war, gab sie diese Mission und Zugehörigkeit nie auf und gab wie alle Nonnen ihre Einnahmen an den Orden weiter, an das Mutterhaus, das die Ausgaben verteilte.

In den Sechzigern besuchte Rosalie die Catholic University of America in Washington und promovierte in Biometrie, das ist die Wissenschaft der biologischen Messung. Es war damals ein ganz neues Feld.

Sie trat dem ersten Krebsforschungszentrum der Welt bei, das war das Roswell Park Cancer Institute, wo sie als als Umweltepidemiologin arbeitete und die Beziehung zwischen Krankheiten und Gemeinschaften untersuchte.

Gleichzeitig unterrichtete sie auch Mathematik an ihrem alten College.

Rosalie erlitt 1972 einen zweiten Herzinfarkt und stolperte während ihrer Genesung über die Bomben-Daten von Hiroshima und Nagasaki. Ihr Arbeitsdrang blieb offensichtlich immer ungebrochen. Diese Daten eröffneten das nächste Kapitel, und es wurde eine lebenslange Forschungsarbeit. Sie studierte die medizinische Geschichte der Röntgenstrahlen und die langzeitlichen Auswirkungen der Strahlung der US-Bombenabwürfe auf Hiroshima und Nagasaki und wurde Strahlungsexpertin, insbesondere in Bezug auf die Auswirkungen schwacher Strahlung auf terrestrische biologische Systeme und unsere biologischen Systeme. "Ich habe 10 Jahre mit den Strahlungsdaten verbracht und bin zum führenden Experten auf diesem Gebiet geworden", erzählte Bertell in ihrem Interview mit Donna Mac Kinnon (4).

Im Gegensatz zu anderen konzentrierte sie sich auf das, was mit den Menschen geschah. Sie stellte bei der Beobachtung von Wirkungen den Menschen in den Mittelpunkt. Wenn sie über Waffen- Atom- Chemieindustrie sprach, war ihre Sprache zwar technisch-wissenschaftlich, doch vergaß sie dabei nie den Aspekt von Leben und Gesundheit, sie vergaß nicht, wer verletzt wurde und warum er verletzt wurde. Der menschlich-ethische Aspekt stand in ihren Untersuchungen im Vordergrund, und war in ihrer spirituellen Dimension verankert.

Laut Bertell gab es seit 1945 weltweit zwischen 10 und 20 Millionen Strahlenkrebsopfer (ohne Hiroshima und Nagasaki). Ihre Berechnungen sprechen von Bergleuten und Uranbetreibern, Transportarbeitern, denen, die die Anlagen verwalten, Abfälle verwalten, denen, die das Material von Waffen trennen, Waffen herstellen, Waffen testen und denen, die unter dem Fallout der Atomtests lebten.

Eine wirklich ernsthafte Bewertung der zivilen und militärischen Folgen im Nuklearbereich sollte keinen der von Bertell analysierten Aspekte außer Acht lassen. Mir ist keine vergleichbare Arbeit bekannt, die diese Anstrengung unternommen hat.

Ein öffentliches Treffen in Buffalo wurde zu einem weiteren Wendepunkt in Rosalie's Leben. Niagara County wollte ein Kernkraftwerk an einem Standort in der Nähe von Farmen bauen, wo Kindernahrung produziert wurde, und die dort lebenden Menschen waren

besorgt. Rosalie beschrieb das Treffen: "Auf der Bühne gab es nur Plätze für die fünf Männer der Atomindustrie. Ihre Botschaft war, dass Strahlung wie Röntgenstrahlung ist und natürlich nicht weh tut". (5) Rosalie hatte da freilich Einiges einzuwenden, erinnerte an die ersten konkreten Erfahrungen mit der Atomkraft. Sie saß in der vordersten Reihe und bestand darauf, dass man das Projekt aufgab. Ihr fiel auf, dass während auf dem Podium nur Männer, die versicherten 'seid ohne Sorge', im Saal nur Frauen waren. Die Sorgen der Frauen konnten von den Männern nicht weggeredet werden.

Am Ende war es den weiblichen Demonstranten gelungen, ein Moratorium für die Anlage zu erreichen - das erste in den Vereinigten Staaten gegen die Atomindustrie.

Von diesem Tag an wurde Bertell vom Anti-Atomkraft-Netz in Beschlag genommen, und da sie über eine Datenbank mit medizinischen Informationen verfügte, wurde sie ständig um das Wort gebeten. "Ich begann zu begreifen, dass es für das Militär normal ist, Strahlung freizusetzen, und dass es auch Strahlungsnormen festlegt", fasst Bertell diese "ernste Realität" kurz zusammen. (6)

Am Roswell-Institut, an dem die Wissenschaftlerin arbeitete, war die Spannung unterdessen groß geworden, was nicht anders sein konnte, da die Atomindustrie das Geld für die Forschung zur Verfügung stellte und daran Bedingungen koppelte. "Wissenschaftler sind wirtschaftliche Gefangene. Mir wurde gesagt, was ich sagen durfte, also habe ich aufgehört", erklärte Rosalie im Nachhinein.

1978 verließ sie Roswell, weil ihr Abteilungsleiter bei einer Anhörung des US-Kongresses versucht hatte, ihre Aussage über die Röntgenbelastung einzuschränken.

Nachdem sie das Institut verlassen hatte, ging sie in ein Karmeliterkloster in Vermont und verbrachte ein Jahr im kontemplativen Gebet, um ihre Arbeit als Aktivistin auszuwerten. "Es gab keinen spirituellen Widerstand. Also nahm ich an, es war ein Aufruf, und der Kreuzzug war im Gange", fasste Rosalie das Ergebnis dieser Innenschau zusammen.

Mit dem intellektuellen Schwert in der Hand sah sie sich bald einem wichtigen Prozess gegenüber, als sie im Kongress der Vereinigten Staaten zum Thema medizinische Röntgenstrahlen aussagte und es schaffte, die Röntgenstrahlen in Schuhgeschäften und die jährlichen medizinischen Röntgenaufnahmen in Schulen und bei der Arbeit zu stoppen.

Seitdem hielt Bertell einem unaufhörlichen Engagement stand. Kein dritter Infarkt behinderte mehr ihren Einsatz.

Zu den Verpflichtungen gehörten eine Konferenz über niedrige Strahlenexposition in Mailand, eine UN-Sitzung in Genf und die Welt-Brustkrebskonferenz in Kingston, Ontario. Sie sprach vor dem Europäischen Parlament in dem Bestreben, Europa bei der Festlegung von Strahlenschutzstandards für Arbeitnehmer zu unterstützen.

Sie schloss eine "Rekonstruierung" für die von den drei 1965 in Alaska getesteten Atombomben Betroffenen ab, wodurch sie den strahlenexponierten Männern half, von der US-Regierung Unterstützung für ihre medizinische Behandlung zu erhalten.

Sie war Mitglied der nuklearen Task Force der Gemeinsamen Internationalen Kommission USA-Kanada und Beraterin von Health Canada zum Zustand der Großen Seen.

1980 zog sie nach Toronto (Ontario) und arbeitete von 1980 bis 1984 am Jesuitenzentrum für Frieden und soziale GerechtigkeitJa, und sie ist viel gereist und hat an Studien und Aktivitäten in den Vereinigten Staaten, Kanada, Japan, den Marshall-Inseln, Malaysia, den Philippinen, Indien, Deutschland und der Ukraine teilgenommen.

Rosalie Bertell war an der Gründung mehrerer Organisationen beteiligt:

1978 war sie an der Gründung des Ministry of Concern for Public Health in Buffalo, New York, beteiligt; 1984 am International Institute of Concern for Public Health (IICPH) in Toronto, Kanada; 1985 an der International Commission of Health Professionals, Genf; 1986 an der Gründung der International Associates for Community Health in Orkney, Schottland; und 2000 an der Gründung der International Physicians for Humanitarian Medicine, wo sie Mitglied des Board of Regents war.

Sie leitete Forschungsarbeiten für die Internationale Medizinische Kommission in Bhopal, die die Folgen des Austretens von giftigem Methylisocyanat aus der Carbid-Pestizidfabrik der Union in Bhopal untersuchte.

Nach der Reaktorkatastrophe von Tschernobyl 1986, die unmittelbar 31 Menschen tötete und die Evakuierung von 135.000 Menschen zur Folge hatte, half Rosalie bei der Einberufung eines Gerichts, um für die Rechte dieser Opfer zu kämpfen.

Während der NATO-Bombardements in Jugoslawien sprach sie klar und öffentlich über die möglichen Folgen des Einsatzes von Waffen mit abgereichertem Uran für die Bevölkerung.

Sie enthüllte Fakten und Vorgeschichten über den Krieg im Kosovo und im Irak, die enge Beziehung zwischen Politik, insbesondere der US-Politik, und den wirtschaftlichen Interessen.

Sie beschäftigte sich mit dem sogenannten Syndrom der Golfkriegsveteranen. Dank der Veröffentlichung ihres Artikels über ihre Forschungen zu diesem Problem, half sie den Veteranen Anerkennung und Entschädigung für ihre Kampfverletzungen zu erlangen.

1996 beschloss sie die Menschen auf den Philippinen, die versuchten, den von der US-Marine und der US-Luftwaffe auf verlassenen Militärstützpunkten hinterlassenen Giftmüll zu entsorgen, zu unterstützen. Die Vereinigten Staaten übernahmen keine rechtliche Verpflichtung zur Säuberung dieser Stätten (was kein Ausnahmefall ist), da dies im ursprünglichen Vertrag von 1940 nicht vorgesehen war.

Nach einem Bericht des US-Portals "Tom Dispach" hat Washington Streitkräfte in 149 Ländern, d.h. 75% des Planeten, stationiert und verfügt über fast 700 Stützpunkte in 74 Ländern auf der ganzen Welt. Diese globale Militärpräsenz ist den meisten Menschen unbekannt. Rosalie Bertell hat die Konsequenzen dieser Realität analysiert und angeprangert.

Sie arbeitete vorzugsweise für indigene Völker aber natürlich auch von Menschen überhaupt, die von Militarismus und Umweltverschmutzung betroffen waren.

Sie hat zahlreiche Berichte zur Problematik der Verstrahlung geschrieben, von strahlenbedingten Gesundheitsproblemen der Menschen in Rongelap nach den Bombenversuchen auf den Marshall-Inseln bis hin zu den Auswirkungen des Kernkraftwerks Pickering auf die Gesundheit der Kinder vor Ort.

Sie hat sich auch mit dem Zusammenhang zwischen Diabetes, Krebs und Leukämie und Strahlung befasst. Sehr interessant ist ihre Ansicht zum Thema Fettleibigkeit. "Es ist nicht nur

JunkFood. Es ist bekannt, dass radioaktives Jod in der nordamerikanischen Atmosphäre die Schilddrüse verlangsamt, was zum (Über-)Gewicht beiträgt.“

Rosalie Bertell hat neun Ehrendoktortitel und zahlreiche Auszeichnungen erhalten, darunter den Alternativen Nobelpreis (Right Livelihood Award), der jedes Jahr wenige Tage vor der Verleihung des Nobelpreises in Stockholm verliehen wird. Diese Ehrung wurde ihr 1986 für das 1985 veröffentlichte Buch Keine unmittelbare Gefahr: Prognose für eine radioaktive Erde verliehen.

Rosalie macht durch ihre Arbeit deutlich, dass nicht die Natur an der globalen Zerstörung schuld ist, sondern es ist der Mensch, der unzählige Probleme geschaffen hat und sie nun lösen muss. Die Substanzen, die die Erde und ihre Bewohner bedrohen, sind menschliche Schöpfungen, oft vom Militär.

Eines der markantesten Beispiele aus der Vergangenheit ist Chlor. Chlor kommt in der Natur nicht als Gas vor. Es wurde abgetrennt und mit schrecklicher Wirkung als Waffe im Ersten Weltkrieg eingesetzt. Dann kamen Chloroform, Tetrachlorkohlenstoff, Pestizide, Herbizide, Entlaubungsmittel, PCBs, DDT, Dioxin und eine unendliche Liste anderer Schadstoffe dazu - alles Faktoren, die zur Zerstörung der Natur beitrugen und noch beitragen.

Auf dem Frauenforum in Peking 1995 warnte sie die Delegierten vor den Gefahren der vom Militär entwickelten Chemikalien und ihren langfristigen gravierenden Auswirkungen auf das Leben.

Sie war davon überzeugt, dass diejenigen, die für die Militärpolitik verantwortlich sind, die Hauptverschmutzer in der Welt sind. Diese Tatsache wird in allen Klimadiskussionen ausgeklammert, was Rosalie schmerzlich bewusst wurde im Zusammenhang mit ihrer Arbeit an der UNO. Das brachte sie sehr in einem Brief an Ahmed Djoghlaf, Exekutivsekretär der Konferenz der Vereinten Nationen über Biodiversität in Durban, im Jahre 2011 zum Ausdruck, ein Schreiben, das sie auch an Claudia von Werlhof sandte, so dass wir heute davon Kenntnis haben. Für Rosalie Bertell ist es der Militarismus, der zu einem entscheidenden und verheerenden Gewicht für den Planeten und die Gesellschaft geworden ist. Umweltverschmutzung, Umweltkatastrophen und Beiträge für die militärische Forschung sind das Ergebnis einer falschen Sichtweise und verzerrter Werte, mit denen eine falsche "Sicherheit" vorgetäuscht werde.

Rosalie prägte einen neuen Begriff, der den militärischen Kräften eine neue Aufgabe zuweist, sie sprach von "ökologischer Sicherheit", welche die Sorge um den Planeten und seiner Bewohner in den Vordergrund rückt. Sie schlug vor, dass die Rolle der Armee im gewaltlosen Schutz und in der gewaltlosen Verteidigung, in der Hilfeleistung bei ökologischen Krisen und in der Beteiligung an Friedensmissionen durch Diplomatie und Dialog bestehen sollte. Starke Investitionen - finanzielle und personelle Ressourcen - sollten in diese Richtung getätigt werden. Das Bewusstsein für diese neue Vision solle auf allen Ebenen geschärft werden, um das Blatt zu wenden.

"Krieg und Geld sorgen dafür, dass die Welt sich dreht. Wenn man Geld hat, muss man bereit sein, in den Krieg zu ziehen, um es zu schützen, und das ist das Hauptanliegen von Unternehmen und Regierungen." meinte Rosalie. Es geht immer um dieses Eine, um Geld.

"Wenn man die Augen einmal geöffnet hat, kann man sie nicht mehr schließen", sagte sie, und das erklärt nicht wenig ihre lebenslangen unglaublichen Anstrengungen, die auch großen Anfeindungen ausgesetzt waren.

Rosalie hinterlässt uns also eine starke Botschaft. Sie fordert uns dazu auf, den Wert des Lebens als solches wiederherzustellen und aus der Logik des Krieges auszutreten.

Sie glaubte, dass wir es schaffen können, aber nur, wenn wir uns zusammenfinden und gemeinsam handeln.

Das kann also nicht vermittels einer uns nur allzu vertraute Logik geschehen, die den Wettbewerb, die Gewalt des einen gegen den anderen, die Kriege in allen Lebensbereichen charakterisiert, rechtfertigt und fördert. Das geht nur über eine Umkehrung der Todeslogik und die Ausrichtung auf das Lebendige, auf die Logik und die dem Leben innewohnenden Gesetzmäßigkeiten.

Es werden die zwischenmenschlichen Netzwerke sein, die auf Vertrauen aufbauen, Vertrauen in die Zukunft und ins Leben, die uns neue Wege öffnen werden.

Rosalie Bertell sah Gerechtigkeit oder deren Abwesenheit, in der Art und Weise. wie wir mit der Umwelt umgehen, wie wir den Planeten behandeln, wie wir uns selbst behandeln. Alles ist miteinander verbunden.

Sie hoffte sehr, dass ein Internationaler Gerichtshof für Umweltverbrechen gegründet werden könne. Dieser Wunsch, wie so viele andere Wünsche von Rosalie, warten noch auf Erfüllung.

Sie hoffte, dass die Armee, das Patriarchat und der Kapitalismus abgeschafft werden könnten

Sie hoffte, dass eine große Bürgerbewegung entstehen könnte, um Mutter Erde zu retten.

Haben wir noch genug Zeit?

Nach ihrer Pensionierung lebte Rosalie Bertell in Yardlet, Pennsylvania, wo sie bis zu ihrem Tod im Juni 2012 aktiv blieb.

Rosalie Bertell vermachte ihr geistiges und spirituelles Erbe im deutschsprachigen Raum an Prof. Claudia von Werlhof. Noch vor Rosalie's Tod wurde die Planetare Bewegung für Mutter Erde PMBE gegründet (8), die sich in den folgenden Jahren mit großem Erfolg um die Verbreitung von Rosalies Werk kümmerte.

Neben ihren zahlreichen Schriften hinterließ Rosalie zwei wichtige Bücher. Sie ist die Autorin von dem bereits genannten:

Keine unmittelbare Gefahr: Prognose für eine radioaktive Erde, ein im Jahr 1985 in Englisch und 1987 in Deutsch veröffentlichtes Handbuch zur Abschätzung der gesundheitlichen Auswirkungen der Exposition gegenüber ionisierender Strahlung,

und Planet Earth: The Latest Weapon of War aus dem Jahr 2000, welches in überholter und erweiterter Fassung Dank Claudia von Werlhof und der PMBE in Deutsch erschien; Kriegswaffe Planet Erde, 1. Auflage 2011, 5. Auflage 2020. S. dazu C. v. Werlhof: Die Erde als Waffe / Geo-Engineering als Krieg (10) und im Anschluss in Französisch, Spanisch und Italienisch und imminent ist nun auch nach 20 Jahren die Wiederveröffentlichung in Englisch. Das ist das Ergebnis einer von Erfolg begleiteten 10 jaehrige Anstrengung der Planetaren Bewegung für Mutter Erde, um die wichtigen Botschaft Rosalies weiterzuverbreiten.

Ich sehe das wie Rosalie. Das steckt im letzten Abschnitt drin. Umkehr notwendig - Hüter und nicht Herren der Erde.

Es werden die zwischenmenschlichen Netzwerke sein, die auf Vertrauen aufbauen, Vertrauen in die Zukunft und ins Leben, die uns neue Wege öffnen werden.

Review – No Immediate Danger - Prognosis for a Radioactive Earth by Rosalie

Bertell, published 1985

No other book has delved into the nuclear industry to the degree that this book has in so

many aspects. It is as relevant today, if not even moreso, as it was when first published in

1986, the year of the Chernobyl disaster. The title alone conveys the implicit and inherent

problems of the many facets of the nuclear industry, including the militaristic aspects that

gave rise to this industry and continues to be prominent in that role, the advent of nuclear

power as a “peaceful” source of energy, and of course, the ongoing long-term health effects

and damage resulting from continuous, subtle exposure to radiation, be it at so-called low-

levels, to the population as a whole, especially the “seed”, the young, vulnerable

populations, women in particular, nuclear workers, ranging to exposure from “accidents”-

Chernobyl, Fukushima, to warfare.

This book is a classic especially as we remain mired with nuclear power plants that have

been operating for decades, all the while emitting radioactive substances and other toxins to

the atmosphere. This creates radioactive waste, ranging from what is deemed as being

highly radioactive to so-called lower levels of such waste and other toxic substances. So

while these reactors inevitably will shut down, having operated for decades, their legacy of

waste continues and will so for eons.

But both the military and industrial uses of nuclear power continue – in spite of what is all

too obvious as single-minded, in denial of acknowledging the damage already caused, yet

willing to continue along the same path that has put us and our planet in an untenable and

fragile situation.

In the chapter titled “Disillusion”, Rosalie wrote about the arms race, highlighting the

“Manhattan Project”. While the Project involved the collaboration of scientists and the seeds

of peace, it also spawned the seeds of atomic bombs and catastrophic warfare.

The proliferation of nuclear power over decades has been phenomenal - partly driven by this

source of energy was “too cheap to meter”, a phrase used in the mid 1950s, at a time when

other utilities were not even metered, laying false claim to the benefits of nuclear power but

giving some kind of hope to third-world countries, and the horrors of the bombings at

Hiroshima and Nagasaki. But in all this aggrandizing of nuclear energy, the span of health

issues related to exposure to radiation, ranging from cancers, spontaneous abortions,

thyroid dysfunctions, anaemia, to hormonal diseases, was essentially dismissed and

continues so to the present.

As Rosalie pointed out, the “skewing” of statistics by government agencies to either dispute

and diffuse the health effects of radiation has led to a protected “industrial-military

complex” that operates with impunity. Definitions of radioactive wastes are altered to such a

degree that results in some of these wastes being “re-cycled” and utilized in consumer

products or disposed of in inappropriate municipal landfills. “Permissible” levels of exposure

to radiation are set to represent so-called “safe levels”, even as it is acknowledged that there

are no known safe levels of exposure to ionising radiation. This is yet another example of

“No Immediate Danger”.

In the 1970s, notable individuals, government representatives and scientists on a global

scale attempted to formulate “solutions” on economic and social changes on a global scale

to address inequities common to all nations, such as poverty and degradation of the

environment. Reports such as “The Limits to Growth” by the Club of Rome put its finger on

the process of global economic collapse. However, as Rosalie pointed out, these efforts

failed to grasp “the subtle biological collapse through damage of the gene pool which had

already begun” (p. 288-9). She cited a prophetic message delivered by Chief Seattle in 1854

in ceding land in the territory of Washington to the US government, “This is what we know.

All things are connected”. Rosalie noted that this message appears to be as difficult for

humans to comprehend as was the discovery that the earth was not the centre of the solar

system. The problem of radioactive waste is related to those connections.

The 1970s did give rise to a rising awareness of the implications of the nuclear age. Rosalie

spoke of the need to unpack the myths of false hopes, outdated paradigms and destructive

behaviour patterns in the emerging and deepening of the technological world that followed

into new ways of living. The failure to do so would inevitably lead to outright obliterations of

the species or at the least delayed maturation.

While more and more women were making connections between oppression, violence,

greed and power, and the nuclear arms race, Rosalie questioned whether these attitudes

were capable of changing. “Could we not build a global village, a society based on peaceful

co-operation, one that is multi-cultural, multi-lingual, preserving the best of national pride?

Is a world confronted with the impossibility of constant growth and the failure of the trickle-

down theory capable of change?” (p.295)

But Rosalie goes one step further, providing hope under conditions where despair is

omnipresent. She asked whether the world confronted with the impossibility of constant

growth is capable of change. “In a world come into adulthood, exotic mega-projects or wars

which endanger the shared biosphere are suicidal and omnicidal. The time of constant

growth is over. It is now time to bloom” (p. 290).

While she acknowledged that the building of a non-violent society will take centuries, she

also called for the turning away from the nuclear precipice quickly.

On a personal note, I turn to Rosalie’s book frequently, as I work on nuclear issues in Canada.

Her insight, knowledge, and passion inspire me as well as inform me and keep me rooted to

continue raising the issues, injustices and flagrant laws that protect and promote an industry

which is so destructive. I am inspired by her work and tenacity to speak truth to power.

honrar tu memoria y tu valioso legado. Hace ocho años que dejaste este mundo tras una

existencia ejemplar y pionera, dedicada a luchar por la verdad, la justicia y la vida, a fin de

construir un mundo mejor para todos y muy en especial para los más desprotegidos. Sin

embargo este año conmemoramos otra fecha clave en el calendario de la humanidad. En

enero de 1999 el Parlamento Europeo adoptó el Informe A4-0005/99 sobre Medio Ambiente,

Seguridad y Política Exterior, en el que destacaba sobremanera la denuncia de las armas de

manipulación del clima. En ese documento, que aunque no lleve tu nombre lleva tu sello

porque fue redactado por ti, se reconoce el importante papel del ejército en la sociedad

democrática y sus tareas en la defensa nacional, pero se deja claro que el sector militar

constituye un importante factor de destrucción medioambiental tanto en tiempos de paz

como en tiempos de guerra. Llamando la atención sobre armas cada vez más potentes y

sofisticadas que requieren de importantes recursos en investigación y desarrollo, convirtiendo

este sector en el principal consumidor de tecnología punta.

En el punto T del mismo se explicita que pese a los convenios existentes, la investigación en el

sector militar sigue basándose en la manipulación medioambiental como arma, poniendo de

manifiesto el sistema HAARP con base en Alaska. El punto U de ese informe recuerda que es

preciso tener presente la experiencia adquirida con el desarrollo y utilización de la energía

nuclear para “fines pacíficos” por constituir una sana advertencia contra la invocación del

secreto militar para impedir una evaluación y supervisión claras de las tecnologías combinadas

civil/militar cuando la transparencia se encuentra, en cualquier caso, comprometida.

Proponiendo que se debe luchar contra el secreto que rodea la investigación militar, y

promover el derecho a la información, y al control democrático y parlamentario de los

proyectos de investigación militar.

Fuiste duramente tachada de conspiracionista, como todos los pioneros libres, pero seguiste

luchando incansable para dar a conocer este arma de destrucción planetaria. Veinte años más

tarde los medios de comunicación, al servicio de su amo, ya hablan de la geoingeniería como

la solución tecnología preferente para “paliar el calentamiento global” y salvar al planeta, sin

rebatir las graves consecuencias del uso de estas tecnologías.

Ese Parlamento Europeo que gracias a tu denuncia hace veinte años tuvo en sus manos, la

posibilidad de proteger a la ciudadanía europea, liderando la oposición global a la

manipulación del clima, y forzando un debate parlamentario y público sobre la ética del uso

de esta tecnología en todos los países miembro, optó por guardar silencio ante una ruta que

ya tenía marcada. Ese mismo año, como todos pudimos comprobar, los programas de

manipulación del clima se hicieron escandalosamente presentes en los cielos europeos, a la

vez que los gobiernos negaban la mayor.

Nosotros, tus compañeros de viaje, aprendimos de tí que la geoingeniería es el caballo de

Troya del colonialismo espacial, la geopolítica del complejo industrial militar que ambiciona el

dominio total del espacio para lo cual se necesita antes dominar el planeta tierra y sus gentes,

imponiendo un gobierno global a costa de destruir las soberanías nacionales a través de la

deuda. Ello ha requerido corromper la ciencia, los gobiernos y parlamentos del mundo,

sistemas judiciales, y educativos desde la primaria, las religiones, los medios de comunicación,

los expertos, las instituciones locales e internacionales… El clima, querida Rosalie, ha sido

instrumental para el control corporativo y la privatización de los recursos planetarios por las

élites globalistas, a instancias de Naciones Unidas y su agenda 2030, bajo nombres engañosos

como El New Deal Verde, Capital Natural, el Nuevo Deal por la Naturaleza, etc.. Todos

eufemismos para salvar con fondos públicos al sistema capitalista en caída libre, a través de

la planificada “Cuarta Revolución Industrial”, en la que caben desde la terraformación del

planeta a la geoingeniería pasando por la inteligencia artificial basada en el uso masivo de

radiofrecuencias letales, y el transhumanismo. Las citadas élites tienen prisa para hacer caja

con nuestros bienes comunes. Por eso, con la eficaz ayuda de los nefastos medios de

comunicación, hemos pasado del fraude del cambio climático al fraude del coronavirus. Salvar

al planeta ahora parece depender de una vacunación masiva, con ¡chip de control incluido!

En 90 días estos psicópatas han destruido las economías del mundo y sumido a los países en

la miseria, obligándoles a contraer una deuda astronómica que será pagada con la soberanía

nacional y su “Capital Natural”. Pero pagar con nuestra tierra, vida y libertad no es una opción.

Happy Birthday PMME!

Rosalie Bertell invited me to Toronto in 2008 for her jubilee as a Grey Nun of the Sacred

Heart. On this occasion, I made her interview for the film Bye Bye Blue Sky1, which was

already talking about geoengineering. No need to add anything about her life commitment

and all what she achieved, many people know it.

If this is the case, it is due to the tireless efforts of PMME and its team, with Claudia von

Werlhof. Without them, the situation would be even worse, with almost nobody trying to

resist geoengineering or simply being aware of it.

Therefore, I make the wish, that someday, as early as possible, PMME could say: “Mission

accomplished, we don't need anymore to celebrate our birthday.” That day, it will be Mother

Earth that will be celebrated.

Before this time happens soon, happy birthday PMME and thank you for all!

We are celebrating this anniversary of PMME and the publication of Rosalie’s

book

This happens in a very special moment, really unique. If it is not the worst crisis in human

story, it is at least the worst in the last hundred years.

We are already suffering an authoritarian wave attempting to control every man and woman

on Earth, in the most irrational an inhuman way. The way in which many millions are

passively, obediently and even with enthusiasm embracing this horror is one of the most

threatening aspects of the current situation.

If that wave succeeds in its atrocious designs, those that Rosalie clearly anticipated and

openly and courageously resisted, we will not have a planet to care about. The destructive

compulsion of the dominant system is also self-destructive, suicidal.

We need to be aware of that perspective. But we must not be paralyzed by fear. There is an

option. Millions of people, all over the world, are reacting in the opposite way. Instead of

isolation, social distance and individual self-protection, they are reacting with solidarity,

courage and the best human instincts to create a different kind of life, to challenge the

barbaric condition imposed on us and to adopt an attitude that starts with a magnificent

love for Mother Earth.

We cannot say that the worldwide movement in which Rosalie dreamed of is already

happening. But perhaps something equivalent is beginning to emerge. Fully localized

reactions, rooted in the soil under our feet, embracing both the people and all natural

beings, are exploding everywhere. She would have loved to see them flourishing, in the

midst of the dominant horror. She would have appreciated all the potential these

spontaneous reactions have to change everything –as the only way to survive. This is not

reform or revolution. A new narrative, collectively imagined, is currently leaving behind the

myths and constructions that dominated for so many years our minds and hearts. In that

new narrative, Rosalie has a very special, mysterious presence.

It is generally assumed that nuclear weapons are the most destructive weapons ever

invented. This concerns the mainstream as well as most of the alternative media, despite

the fact that it was already revealed in the 1970s with the ENMOD convention

(see https://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Environmental_Modification_Convention)

that post-nuclear weapons of mass destruction exist and technologies have been developed

to generate earth quakes, vulcano eruptions, tsunamies, cyclones of various types, tornadic

storms, long lasting and severe changes in weather patterns, changes in ocean currents, and

changes in the state of the ozone layer or in the state of the ionosphere.

These developments were explained in a comprehensive manner and in clear language

by Rosalie Bertell, winner of the 1986 Right Livelihood Award, in her book "Planet Earth,

the Latest Weapon of War", which appeared in 2000. The publisher of this book went

bankcrupt soon after. Thanks to the efforts of the PMME, this important work is now

available in German, Spanish, Italian, French, and will soon appear again in English.

All this information is in the public domain and should be taught in every school, however, it

is not acknowledged by most people. Instead we are indoctrinated by fairy tales of a climate

change caused by carbon dioxide emissions. To put it in the words of Kozma Prutkov (an

author collective): "Many things are incomprehensible to us, not because our

comprehension is weak, but because these things do not belong to the circle of our

concepts."

Among the things that do not belong to the realm of our concepts is the notion of "global

policy". Every child knows that there are anti-globalists - but globalists, who carry out global

policy for their own interests, concerning all of humanity? No, no! Or that we live in a

global slave civilization, that also lies beyond the horizon of our world view.

After all, do we not have democracy and freedom? And nobody gives us any orders!

However, the best slaves are those who do not even notice that they are enslaved, and

demand that their rights be removed, for the noble purpose of all our safety. Especially in

corona times these mechanisms of global governance and information warfare could

become more obvious. However, our understanding is continually diluted by another

principle of global governance (according to Victor Efimov), that next to the truth, that is

only known to the chosen few, the lie is always divided into two or more lies, between which

we ordinary people are to oscillate, so that we never even think of where to look for the

truth. For this reason, concerning every subject of importance, there is always a controlled

opposition.

To prevail in this information war, it is essential that we are armed with information that

cuts through the deceit and lies that obscure our view of the world. Powerful informational

"weapons" are available to us in the works of Rosalie Bertell, of Judy Wood, in the "Concept

of Public Security" (CPS) developed by Konstantin Petrov and others, and in the "Critical

Theory of Patriarchy" (CPT) developed by Claudia von Werlhof.

PMME 10 Years Anniversary 2020 – the Portuguese Case

Congratulation letter from Portugal

We thank you for all the important interdisciplinary information and your efforts to save the

planet. We appreciate being invited to share our work with you!

In 2014, I started my research about geoengineering in Portugal. Shortly afterwards I

discovered the international platform of the Planetary Movement for Mother Earth

PBME/PMME. Later, I contacted Prof. Claudia v. Werlhof personally, asking for help,

especially after 2017, when we were victims and witnesses of “geoengineered forest fires” in

Central Portugal, June and October 2017, exactly at the same time as in California!

Geoengineering started in Portugal around 2010. Benjamin Levy, a holistic therapist from

Lisbon, was one of the first citizens who started to work towards raising awareness and

resistance, organizing speeches about geoengineering, and informing the public via his

website in 2012. [1]

One year later was the beginning of the Facebook group “Rastos Químicos / Chemtrail

Activism Portugal ”, which is until today one of the most important national forums for

exchange of information and contacts, with now over 16.000 Facebook members. [2]

Together we organized several “Global Marches Against Geoengineering,” in Coimbra, Porto,

and Lisbon.

On February 6th, 2017 the “PETITION AGAINST GEOENGINEERING,” initiated by Rastos

Químicos Portugal, was officially passed to the Portuguese Government with over 4000

signatures, represented by Tiago Lopes (Coimbra) and Elvira Vieira (Porto). Both hearings,

April 19th, and October 27th, 2017 brought no response to our concerns about climate-

manipulation, by any of the parties. The petition would likely be ignored! [3]

On June 17th, 2017, we were witnesses of an Engineered Forest Fire in Pedrogão Grande with

officially 64 victims (we suppose there were more!).

On October 15th, 2017, we witnessed another Engineered Forest Fire in Oliveira do Hospital

with officially 45 victims, just 100 km north, all in Central Portugal.

In December 2017, we started an international group called “Why Fire” (WiFi) about “Climate

Engineering and Forest Fires Portugal 2017” as well as a Portuguese group “Grupo Céus

Limpos” (Clean Skies Group). Both groups coordinated their efforts and together sensitized

journalists and the media. We arranged official public meetings with witnesses of organized

fires, from land and from air, and referred to the impression that possibly chemical products

have been used. We also explained about Geoengineering, technics of modern laser

weapons and drones.

We communicated with local councils, engineers and professors from different investigation

commissions of the Portuguese government, showing pictures of places where drones have

been seen, where uninhabited houses exploded, where airplanes had been passing a few

minutes before a sort of fire bomb fell and a kind of fire tsunami exploded from everywhere.

We collected soil from the forest and bark from trees to be analyzed, checking for chemicals

(aluminum, magnesium, lithium, manganese, napalm) which have possibly been sprayed

before and during the fire. The engineers were impressed, as they already knew about Geo-

and Climate-Engineering, and they also wondered about “strange physical happenings” in

our forest, e.g. what happened to quartz, to trees, or to burnt houses. “It should be

investigated”, was the reply. But the Portuguese government never gave any order to

investigate about the crime afterwards. The public explanation was the same as in the June

fire: Natural disaster due to “Climate Change”! [4]

One important piece of information noteworthy from our research is that 5G was officially

demonstrated in Portugal, the week before the October fire. Could this explain the surreal

temperatures also during October 15th, the day of our fire? [5]

Has 5G radiation been used as a “Directed Energy Weapon”, heating up the atmosphere and

drying out the oxygen? [6]

Of relevance for us as well is the extension of the NATO military base at the Portuguese

Islands of the Azores. A new Space Port Program has been installed by NASA at the Isle of

Santa Maria: “PORTUGAL SPACE 2019-2030”, with the Martin Lockheed-Cooperation from

California, one of the largest military manufacturer of laser weapons and spaceships. We are

wondering about those weapon - have they been used or tested in the fires of 2017, in

Portugal, California, and elsewhere ...? [7]

Physicist Manuel Feliz from Porto, private investigator and publisher about geoengineering, contrails and chemical trails, wrote about the Portugal fires 2017, that “possibly inflammable chemical products have been used and (or) electromagnetic weapons. It is a fact that these normally produce such violent fires and inside the trees, as the sap conducts electricity. Holes of 2-5 cm diameter in the forest everywhere? The most strange in these fires was that rocks and crystals of quartz exploded, which was caused due to very high temperature in the inside of these rocks (600⁰C), or otherwise they exploded due to “forced resonance oscillations" by an electromagnetic wave. The resonance frequency of quartz is basically the same frequency as of the HAARP emission, an electromagnetic system for atmospheric experimentations, but not only. A mobile electromagnetic weapon could also emit in this frequency!”[8] In 2019, only two years after these worst fires Europe has ever seen, central and northern Portugal was supposed to become object of an International Auction for Lithium and Mineral Mining. However, the protests by local residents and the national resistance have made it difficult until today for the investors as well as the Portuguese government to proceed with this. So, at this point, no international auction has happened yet, but unfortunately some locations are threatened by contracts for prospection and exploration.[9]

The 2020 “Look Down” caused many people and small enterprises to suffer from an “economic disaster”, like everywhere else. In April 2020, Manuel Trinidade Correia Marques, activist of “STOP 5G Portugal”, published the very important document: “Covid19 and the Anthropocene”.[10]

We, who are living far away from the metropolitan areas consider ourselves fortunate. Nature was our daily consolation during the “pandemic” where the mainstream news had changed from “Climate War”, so- called “Natural Disaster”, to “Psycho-Pharmaceutical War”, the so-called “the New Corona”. Still, the “social distancing” is the most painful restriction, after all, and Portugal continues to be in a “state of calamity”, still in July 2020. It is nice to observe more and more Portuguese people are following their heart and ignoring those restrictions, starting to shake hands again to say hello, or to hug and to kiss each other when they meet with friends and family. It feels right. Every one of us can make this change. So, we hope that our human rights and our power and connection with nature are strongly embedded in our genes so that we may find a way out, being together and happy again with true nature, in Portugal and elsewhere. CELEBRATING 10 years since the founding of The Planetary Movement for

Mother Earth, Planetare Bewegung für Mutter Erde – PBME

It is fitting that several events now come together that acknowledge and support the vision

of PBME since its founding 10 years ago.

We live in times of systemic instability, growing distrust and disillusionment as increasingly

obvious failures are revealed of what is miscalled “western civilization”. Sadly, this is not

new, but the pace is accelerating. Some of the reasons why are well documented in early

warnings such as that from Rosalie Bertell and in our just-released book, Global Warning!

It is becoming more clear to many, that this immoral, corporate-created monster of

technocracy is now in the final phase of its planned global dominance. Dishonesty,

deception, erosion of privacy, curtailment of freedom, soul-destroying and nature-

destroying ways of reckless greed and growth affect ALL life on Earth.

As their flawed system collapses, exposed is the ugly, destructive structure beneath that

must be dismantled. Perhaps, the arrogance of this behemoth is its own unravelling.

Yet, life on Planet Earth is miraculous and resilient, if permitted to be.

This is the crux of the collapsing paradigm before us. Respect for all that is sacred and life-

enhancing versus world dominance and destruction.

We must ensure that an alternative way of Being on our planet is not denied.

I send heartfelt good wishes to PBME for ever more success in the return to our roots and

All’origine, una simbiosi

Concepire la nostra Terra come un organismo vivente non è una prerogativa solo di mistici e

gente visionaria, ma è un’idea condivisa anche da alcuni uomini e donne di scienza, in

particolare naturalisti. Una di queste persone è stata Lynn Margulis, biologa, vissuta fino al

2011 e definita da una rivista “indocile Madre Terra della scienza”. Perché questo epiteto?

L’idea a cui lavorò fino alla fine della vita è quella che la prima cellula dotata di mitocondri

sia nata in origine dalla simbiosi fra una cellula e un batterio. A quest’unione originaria dette

il nome di “endosimbiosi”, considerandola come base primaria degli organismi composti da

cellule organizzate, noi umani compresi. Altri prima di lei avevano concepito quest’idea, ma

fu lei a saperla sostenere costantemente, contro tutto il sistema accademico del tempo, e a

portarla ad affermarsi.

In seguito, altre persone di scienza, nel campo della biologia evolutiva, la confermarono con

prove sperimentali. La condivisione vantaggiosa fra una cellula e un microbo proveniente

dall’esterno, che la integra e le fornisce una gran quantità di energia, condivisione che sta

all’origine dell’evolversi di elefanti e lombrichi, vegetali e umani, e di tutte le creature visibili,

rappresenta un concetto che ha spalancato la strada ad altre conoscenze, ancora più

approfondite. E anche se - come vogliono le scienze - le risposte della biologia sono

eternamente provvisorie, in questo caso le domande erano quelle di sempre: “Chi siamo?”,

“Da dove veniamo?”.

Quindi questa particolare risposta è stata che noi siamo creature composite. Siamo un “noi”,

non un “io”. Siamo aggregati temporanei, cangianti e vibranti. E non solo il nostro sistema

immunitario è simbiosi tra una parte meramente umana e una parte microbica (compresi

virus e retrovirus), ma fin nell’intimo delle proprie singole cellule ogni essere umano porta

una gran quantità di genoma ricevuto in lascito da microbi e virus che “passavano di là”

durante il corso dei mutamenti nel tempo. Tale lascito di genomi si è integrato a comporre

l’insieme di quello che viene chiamato “il nostro corredo genetico”. Questa impronta

originaria che in termini biologici ci lega intimamente alla Terra e ai suoi minuscoli organismi

arcaici e ai loro compagni attuali, è una relazione di non competizione, cioè di reciproco

vantaggio e sostegno, ed è la relazione più intima che si possa immaginare. Basti pensare

che, secondo ricerche contemporanee di biologia evolutiva, la placenta nei mammiferi è

nata da un’informazione, un “suggerimento” portato all’inizio da un certo retrovirus.

Molto vicino alla nostra origine c’è quindi un essere inglobato e contenuto in un altro essere

diverso, ed entrambi che ne traggono vantaggio ed energia. Tutto questo è ormai

conoscenza scientifica acquisita e dimostrata.

E tuttavia, una parte considerevole delle scienze oggi si comporta come fosse schiava di una

visione retrograda, obsoleta e fuorviante dell’evoluzione (qualunque cosa questa parola

significhi); una visione che pretende di collocare l’“uomo” come un essere per natura

privilegiato, distinto e speciale, all’apice di un “percorso di crescita” chiamato evoluzione

darwiniana, e che considera il dominio da parte dell’“uomo” su tutto il vivente come “diritto

di nascita”, e alla fin fine in vista del dominio assume la guerra come paradigma naturale di

ogni relazione. E ciò fin dentro il mondo invisibile, ormai.

Per scienziate come Lynn Margulis - e come altre e altri - accedere al mondo dell’invisibile

significa capire meglio chi e che cosa siamo noi umani e i viventi, e quale sia il nostro posto

nell’universo, su questo pianeta e sotto questo cielo sconfinato; così come si conosce

intimemente un essere amato.

Altri invece, dominati dall’ossessione del dominio, usano e sfruttano la conoscenza

dell’invisibile (virus, retrovirus, batteri, microonde, radiazioni…) allo scopo di vincere e

convincere: di vincere una guerra che loro stessi alimentano e fomentano con tutte le forze,

e di convincere gli altri che tale guerra sia modello unico e universale dello stare al mondo. Il

principio di relazione oggi è sempre più tema filosofico centrale per le scienze della natura

(cfr. per es. Lee Smolin), ma una gran parte delle scienze non vuole ancora sentir parlare di

filosofia - né di buone relazioni. Da questo monopolio della mentalità del conflitto, le loro

menti sono possedute e ossessionate, irrigidite in una sorta di perversione che la stessa

ricerca scientifica - se fosse presa sul serio, e non come un ottimo supporto di scopi

ingegneristici - va smentendo sempre più.

“Una biologia che opera in una prospettiva ingegneristica” (come la chiamò il biologo Carl R.

Woese) tradisce lo stesso “bios”.

Nel sottosuolo, intanto, miriadi di lombrichi e lombriche - anch’essi invisibili in superficie -

mantengono fertile il terreno senza mai dimenticarsi del cielo, nel segno della simbiosi, e ce

la mettono tutta per conservare perennemente la diversità biologica, la fecondità e la

prosperità della terra. Non per vincere alcuna guerra, ma per perpetuare il ciclo vitale, e

gioire della loro parte nel ciclo.

Unsere Erde als einen lebenden Organismus zu konzipieren, ist nicht nur eine Eigenschaft

von Mystikern und visionären Menschen, sondern auch eine Vorstellung, die von einigen

Männern und Frauen der Wissenschaft, insbesondere von Naturwissenschaftlern, geteilt

wird. Eine dieser Personen war Lynn Margulis, Biologin, die bis 2011 lebte und von einer

Zeitschrift als " widerspenstige Mutter Erde der Wissenschaft" bezeichnet wurde. Warum

dieser Beiname?

Die Idee, an der sie bis zu ihrem Lebensende arbeitete, ist, dass die erste mit Mitochondrien

ausgestattete Zelle ursprünglich aus der Symbiose zwischen einer Zelle und einem Bakterium

entstanden ist. Dieser ursprünglichen Vereinigung gab sie den Namen "Endosymbiose", da

sie sie als die primäre Grundlage von Organismen betrachtete, die aus organisierten Zellen

bestehen, wir Menschen eingeschlossen. Andere vor ihr hatten diese Idee konzipiert, aber

sie war es, die sie gegen das gesamte akademische System der damaligen Zeit stets

unterstützt und zur Etablierung geführt hat.

Später bestätigten andere Wissenschaftler aus dem Gebiet der Evolutionsbiologie dies mit

experimentellen Tests. Der fruchtbare Austausch zwischen einer Zelle und einer von außen

kommenden Mikrobe, die sie integriert und mit viel Energie versorgt, sei der Ursprung der

Evolution, von Elefanten und Regenwürmern, sowohl von Pflanzen als auch von Menschen,

und von allen sichtbaren Kreaturen; dies stellt ein Konzept dar, das den Weg für anderes,

noch tieferes Erkennen ebnet. Und selbst wenn - nach wissenschaftlicher Methode - die

Antworten der Biologie immer nur vorläufig sind, die Fragen waren in diesem Falle die

Gleichen wie immer: "Wer sind wir?", "Woher kommen wir?"

Diese besondere Antwort war also, dass wir zusammengesetzte Kreaturen sind. Wir sind ein

"wir", kein "ich". Wir sind temporäre, sich verändernde und schwingende Aggregate. Und

nicht nur unser Immunsystem ist eine Symbiose zwischen einem rein menschlichen Teil und

einem mikrobiellen Teil (einschließlich Viren und Retroviren), sondern jeder Mensch trägt

vom Kern seiner einzelnen Zellen aus eine große Menge an Genom, das von Mikroben und

Viren im Erbe aufgenommen wurde, die im Laufe der Veränderungen durch die Zeit "da

vorbeigekommen" sind. Dieses Vermächtnis von Genomen wurde integriert, um die

Gesamtheit dessen zu bilden, was als "unsere genetische Veranlagung." bezeichnet wird.

Diese ursprüngliche Prägung, die uns biologisch gesehen eng an die Erde und ihre winzigen

archaischen Organismen und ihre heutigen Gefährten bindet, ist eine Beziehung des Nicht-

Gegeneinanders, sondern des gegenseitigen Nutzens und der gegenseitigen Unterstützung,

und es ist die innigste Beziehung, die man sich vorstellen kann. Es genügt der Gedanke, dass

nach den zeitgenössischen Forschungen der Evolutionsbiologie die Plazenta bei Säugetieren

aus einer Information, einer " Anregung" geboren wurde, die zu Beginn von einem

spezifischen Retrovirus eingebracht wurde. Sehr nahe an unserem Ursprung gibt es also eine

Wesenheit, die eine andere Wesenheit integriert und einverleibt, und beide ziehen Nutzen

und Energie daraus. All dies sind nun erworbene und nachgewiesene wissenschaftliche

Erkenntnisse.

Und doch verhält sich heute ein beträchtlicher Teil der Wissenschaften so, als wäre er Sklave

einer rückschrittlichen, überholten und irreführenden Version der Evolution (was immer

dieses Wort bedeutet); eine Vision, die den Anspruch erhebt, den Menschen als

privilegiertes, abgetrenntes und ganz besonderes Wesen von Natur aus an die Spitze eines

"Wachstumspfades" zu stellen, der Darwinsche Evolution genannt wird, und die die

Herrschaft des Menschen über alle Lebewesen als ein "Geburtsrecht" betrachtet und

letztlich den Krieg als das natürliche Paradigma jeder Beziehung ansieht. Und das gilt bis

hinein in die unsichtbare Welt.

Für WissenschaftlerInnen wie Lynn Margulis - wie auch für andere - bedeutet der Eintritt in

die Welt des Unsichtbaren, besser zu verstehen, wer und was wir Menschen und alles

Lebende sind, so wie man ein geliebtes Wesen innig kennenlernen will, und welchen Platz

wir im Universum, auf diesem Planeten und unter diesem grenzenlosen Himmel einnehmen.

Andere WissenschaftlerInnen dagegen, die von der Herrschaftssucht beherrscht werden,

Mikrowellen, Strahlung...), um zu gewinnen und zu überzeugen; um einen Krieg zu

gewinnen, den sie selbst mit aller Kraft nähren und schüren, und um andere dafür zu

gewinnen, dass ein solcher Krieg das einzige und universelle Seinsmodell in dieser Welt ist.

Das Relationsprinzip ist heute mehr und mehr ein zentrales philosophisches Thema für die

Naturwissenschaften (z.B. Lee Smolin), aber ein großer Teil der Wissenschaften will immer

noch nichts weder von Philosophie noch von sinnvollen Beziehungen hören. Ihr Geist ist

beherrscht und besessen, versteift in einer Art Perversion von dieser Domäne der

Konfliktmentalität, das die wissenschaftliche Forschung selbst – wenn man sie ernst nähme

und nicht als ausgezeichnete Unterstützung für technische Zwecke - zunehmend widerlegt.

"Eine Biologie, die aus einer ingenieurwissenschaftlichen Perspektive operiert" (wie der

Biologe Carl R. Woese es nannte) verrät dasselbe "Bios".

Im Untergrund inzwischen, im Zeichen der Symbiose, halten Myriaden von Regenwürmern -

an der Oberfläche unsichtbar - den Boden fruchtbar, ohne jemals den Himmel zu vergessen,

und sie tun ihr Bestes, um die biologische Vielfalt, die Fruchtbarkeit und den Wohlstand der

Erde zu erhalten. Nicht um einen Krieg zu gewinnen, sondern um den Lebenszyklus ewig

fortzusetzen und um sich zu freuen über ihren Teil des Zyklus.

75 years ago the first atomic bombs were thrown on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, in 1986 the

nuclear reactor in Chernobyl exploded, depleted Uranium from nuclear plants, DU, has been

used in bombs in all wars of the West since the Gulf War, and from the catastrophe in 2011

on the 4 Fukushima nuclear reactors are melting incessantly and cannot be stopped...

From wherever it stems, from military or from „civil“ use, nuclear radiation, high and low,

destroys our unreplaceable genetic heritage, including our intelligence, and it destroys

oxygen, the one we breathe, O2, and the one the earth is breathing, Ozone, O3, as well.

“Should the public discover the true health cost(s) of nuclear pollution, a cry would rise

from all parts of the world and people would refuse to cooperate passively with their own

death.”

The public appearance of the „nuclear question“ was the moment of truth which could have

taught society about the patriarcal system´s violence against life, humanity and the planet.

In general and in the long run, however, this did not happen. The nuclear as extreme

violence was first considered to be justified by the war against a terrible enemy, and then

believed to be applicable as non violence in peace times, be it by science, be it by industry.

In spite of the history of the nuclear since then and of the Fukushima accident in 2011 this is

still valid for the world, recently even for the „Green“ Parties and for official Japan until

today. The facts tell us, however, that the nuclear is always war against all of us, nature and

the planet. In reality, the nuclear does not distiguish between war and peace, war and

science, or war and industry. The nuclear is war against life as such. It is the most

horrendous invention of patriarchy.
