– Focus:• High-level methods & concepts• Open & modular development environments• Light/agile methodologies & adaptive workflow• Open platforms, middleware & languages
– Priority to projects with strong industrial users, SW & service suppliers, and academic research partners

• To construct physically-instantiated or embodied systems that can perceive, understand, and interact with their environment, and evolve in order to achieve human-like performance in activities requiring context-(situation & task) specific knowledge
– Focus:• Methodologies and construction of robust & adaptive cognitive
systems
– Main target is interdisciplinarity, i.e. to carefully consider integration of different disciplines including computer vision, natural language understanding, robotics, AI, mathematics & cognitive neuroscience.
