Since you will be spending the night in Amantani Island, bring a small day pack with

Go down the port to the motorboat to begin the 1.15 hour river ride to Amazon Planetwhile enjoying the wonders of the rainforest. We set off down the Madre de Dios Riverthrough the heart of the jungle surrounded by flora, fauna and breathtaking scenery.Arrive at Amazon Planet and settle into your private Lunch will be expecting you at thedining room in the Main house.

Take a short rest before meeting with your guide for an introduction talk about us,followed by an introduction walk around the lodge into the rainforest, winding pastgiant Kapok trees, walking, palms and strangler figs while being dazzled by the soundsof nature in search for wildlife. Return to your bungalow for a rest. Before dinner, takea walk with your guide and experience the jungle as it transforms from day into nightmaking way for nocturnal animals especially adapted for the dark.

Return with your guide to the Main house to enjoy some very interesting videos anddocumentaries about Amazon Planet, the Taricaya Ecological Reserve, the differentprojects and much more while dinner is being served. AMAZON LODGEBreakfast, lunch and dinner are includedProgram of activities at the lodgeWake up to the sunrise and grab your early breakfast to go before traveling bymotorboat upriver for 45 minutes to the entrance of the Tambopata National Reserveand begin the 3 km trek to Lake Sandoval. Paddle in a rowboat around the pristinemirror like lake and enjoy the beautiful scenery with the opportunity to observe avariety of wildlife such as the endangered giant river otter, howler monkeys, macawsand the impressive black caiman. Take a snack by the water's edge before continuingaround the lake. Finishing with a walk back to the river where we board our motorboatand return to the lodge for lunch and a well-deserved rest.

Enjoy a relaxing late afternoon activity as you float the Madre de Dios River in yourown inflatable boat with the opportunity to see turtles, monkeys, herons and other birdsthat are along the river side with a beautiful backdrop of the sunset over the river

in the river.

At night we will enjoy a caiman search along the river•s edge in the motorboat under

the moonlight. We will search for white caiman, black caiman and spectacle caiman

with a flashlight as they lay along the river banks at night, Return to the lodge for

dinner and rest or enjoy our delicious and classic Pisco Sour and more at the bar End
