Start your research as soon as possible. Purchase a USB and create folders for semesters and

subfolders for individual classes within each semester. Click on the specific class and create subfolders for individual research papers/projects.

In gathering information from the online databases for your research paper, be sure to save the full-text articles or e-books as well as the embedded citations in a required style in the specific folder for the research paper.

Get to know Chicago/Turabian Style and where you can find reputable citation guides online so that you can properly cite sources in the body of your article, Notes (footnotes or endnotes), and Bibliography.

List your cited sources in your footnotes and Bibliography as you write your paper so that you won’t miss any source citations.
