What's is protected under law? Original works of authorship fixed in any tangible medium of expression, now known or later developed, from which they can be perceived, reproduced, or otherwise communicated, either directly or with the aid of a machine or device. Works of authorship include the following categories:
(1) literary works;(2) musical works, including any accompanying words;(3) dramatic works, including any accompanying music;(4) pantomimes and choreographic works;(5) pictorial, graphic, and sculptural works;(6) motion pictures and other audiovisual works;(7) sound recordings; and(8) architectural works.

How I avoid plagiarism?
By giving credit to the person or institution from where the information was obtained.
Not write exactly the information from another author, although you can paraphrase it and document the source of reference.

Manuscript preparation
• Times new roman or Courier
• 12 ptFont
• Double in all document lines
• Leave two spaces after finish each sentence
Spacing
• Align text left
• Leave 1 inch margins in each side of the whole document. (Default margins)

•Tab the 1st line of each paragraph
•Number all pages except Title page in the upper right corner
•The paper size is 8½ x 11 (letter)
•Start the references list in a new page at the end of the body or the work
