Things to know about Germany

• Shops close at 8pm during the week

• Shops are closed on Sundays

• Even when entering the U-Bahn station you need a ticket (not only for taking the train)

• The Bayern Ticket you can only use after 9am

• Riding your bike in the dark without light may cost you money police may stop you

• Police is strict but you can trust the police- if you have a problem approach them!!!

• Don’t eat Weisswürste before removing their skin

• Germans are punctual and may get angry if you come 10 min late to an appointment
