Event Information, Competition Regulations & Disqualifications:

When: Saturday, March 22nd, at the Grand Pizza Fest

Time: Must be signed up by 2pm (Saturday, March 22), 2:50pm Check-In Time, 3pm Start Time

Where: Grand Haven Community Center, Check-In at the Extra Ticket Sales Table

Contest: Contestants will receive one (1) Pizza Pie, whoever consumes the entire pizza the fastest wins.

Rules: Competition participants must arrive no later than 2:50 (10 minutes prior to the start of the

event) at the Extra Ticket Sales Table or their space will be forfeited with no refund. Event

schedule subject to change.

Contestants will begin with their hands beneath the table prior to the start of the competition.

Contestants will commence eating at the sound of the bell. Contestants will raise an arm when they have finished their entire pizza and a judge will verify.

The winner is the contestant who eats their entire pizza the fastest and swallows it with no

food remaining on the dish or in the mouth, determined by the judges.

Judges decisions are final.

Each contestant must sign the liability waiver.

Each contestant will receive one bottle of water.

Contestant must be 18 years of age or older.

The contest will not be conducted without a minimum of four participants, refunds will be given at the

discretion of coordinators.

Disqualifications: Starting before the bell is rung.

Placing pizza on others plates, under the table, or hiding food.

Contestants who suffer a reversal of fortune and/or urges contrary to swallowing.

Unfair or poor sportsmanship-like acts determined by the judges.

Refusal to meet any contest rule set in these guidelines, by the judges or contest coordinators.

Waiver/Participation Agreement:

By participating in the Grand Pizza &Beer Fest Pizza Pie Eating Contest and signing this agreement, I fully understand that I enter the

competition at my own risk. I understand I should not enter this contest unless I am medically able, as this contest is a potentially hazardous

and life-threatening activity. I hereby release, discharge, covenant not to sue and agree to hold harmless The Chamber of Commerce Grand

Haven Spring Lake Ferrysburg, the Grand Pizza Fest, and their respective administrators, officers, agents, and employees. The Chamber of

Commerce and Grand Pizza Fest will not be held responsible for any allergic reactions, injuries, choking or other incidents resulting from

participation. I give permission to the Chamber to use any event photographs taken of me for promotional materials. My signature indicates

my understanding and assumption of the risks, regulations, rules and voluntary participation in this competition.
