SERVICE PROJECT 2016: This year we are going to collect monetary donations for The Twin Cities Habitat for Humanities Program. This program builds, rehabs, and repairs homes, educate families about homeownership, counsels families in danger of foreclosure, and advocates for affordable housing solutions. Every dollar you donate results in almost $2.00 of economic activity in our community. 88.8% of the money donated goes to the programs and services that they offer. Pixie will collect funds and send them in one envelope. Cash or checks will be accepted. WHAT TO BRING: Troop 1st Aid Kit Troop Roster for Event Day Health Forms for each girl/adult & Permission Slips Bag Lunch & Beverages for each girl/adult Water bottles will be providedone per person (NO glass bottles or containers please) Name Tags for each girl (first name only) Clothing for all weatherbe prepared for rain or cold temperatures. Mandatory Leader Meeting for troops attending this event for the FIRST TIME—optional and highly recommended for

those returning. Tuesday, April 12 2016, Davanni’s in Bloomington. Meeting starts at 7 pm. Pizza will be served. You

must RSVP to Liz at [email protected] or 952-994-7870. At least one leader or parent attending camp needs to

attend the meeting—Pixie reserves the right to deny your troop acceptance into camp for failure to attend a meeting. If

this day and time is a major problem for your troop, please let Liz know so other arrangements can be made.

Hot Topics: This will be the only mailing you will receive.

SERIOUSLY consider attending the training session—even if this is not your first time at

camp—things change from year to year and you will benefit from hearing this year’s plan

for camp.

Dress for the weather (or possible weather). Dress to get dirty—remember this is camp!

Pixie Valley will be held Rain or Shine. No Umbrellas allowed—use poncho’s instead.

Check-In is from 9am-9:45am. You will be required to review your forms (Permission

Slips and Health forms, Roster is to be left at Registration). You will receive your schedule

for the day at check-in as well as other important camp instructions.

Parking for Moir Park is very limited. Carpooling is highly recommended!

Full closed toe/heal shoes are mandatory for all ADULTS & GIRLS!

Please make sure to follow all Safety Wise guidelines for a troop outing.

Absolutely NO SIBLINGS (younger or older) are permitted to attend Pixie Valley.

We have allotted extra time at the first station for a meet and greet activity as well as

announcements. Each group will be staying together throughout the entire day—might as

well get to know a little something about one another.

Cookie Credits CAN NOT be used to help pay for camp.

If you have ANY questions—do not hesitate to ask—we want all of our leaders that attend

camp to feel fully prepared for the day’s events.

DIRECTIONS FOR THE PARK: 35W to 106th Street exit. Go West on 106th Street to
