“We anticipate growth will remain the broadest in the U.S. economy…as favorable market conditions continue in

automotive OEM, architectural coatings and aerospace.”• Looking ahead to 2014, we expect

modest global growth to continue. We anticipate growth will remain the broadest in the U.S. economy, spanning across several coatings end-use markets as favorable market conditions continue in automotive OEM, architectural coatings and aerospace. We expect emerging regions growth to remain mixed, but we expect PPG to post solid aggregate growth based on the various end-markets the Company supplies. In Europe, economies appear to be improving but remain fragile.

I would not buy PPG stock today. I don’t have enough money with three kids, one in college next fall, to risk losing my investment. Maybe later in life, I would consider it because PPG is a Pennsylvania-based company which makes diverse quality products in the global market.
