Manufacturer CompetitorsCitroen unveiled the Cactus in 2014. This is their integrated approach to solving the door ding dilemma. It is basically a permanent door pillow. While the effectiveness of the design is clear, the aesthetics are not so pleasing. You are basically trading a blemish for a permanent big brown thing on the door.

Ford introduced the door edge protector in 2012. It is a rubber strip that wraps around your car door edge, and is designed to protect the car parked next to you. However, if the person parked next to you is not driving a Ford, then you are not offered the same protection.




Aftermarket Competitors

Aftermarket products such as door magnets and plastic strips glued onto your door are currently available on the market. Magnets on your car can be easily tampered with and doesnʼt offer uniform full length protection on your car. Plastic strips must be permanently installed using glue and can be an eyesore which diminishes the aesthetics and resale value of the vehicle.

Growth Strategy• Our short-term objective is to produce and sell the AutoBlock device to major custom auto

shops (franchises) worldwide. Clients will be able to use autoblocksystem.com to find a custom shop closest to them for installation. Initial focus will be on GERMAN cars (BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Porsche, and VW) because their undercarriages are virtually flat.

• Our long-term objective is to license the technology to all major car manufacturers. Car owners will be able to select AutoBlock as an option when they purchase their BMW, Mercedes Benz, Audi, etc...
