    Target Audience

    Brief History

    Big Idea

    Soda Vine

    The target audience would be college age males and females from 18-24. The business is located in Rexburg, Idaho which is a college town. Half the population is college students, so there would be a good market. Most college students dont have a lot of money, so the target would be those on a tighter budget. The largest demographic will be non-married with no children. They will be those who value great flavor for a great price. But they will also be those who arent going to go buy the Walmart brand soda to get their thirst quenched.

    Soda Vine is a result of a popular warm weath-er drink/slushy shack, Snowasis. The business owner worked at Madison High teaching for a few years and likes helping students prepare for careers outside of college. They wanted to expand what was offered from Snowasis. With various influences, they now offer Italian sodas, gelatos, cookies and pretzels. The main product

    is their unique soda flavor combinations. They offer a place for college students to get a quick drink or to sit and be social with their peers.

    My big idea is to package the product in glass bottles. With Sodavine already creating such unique and delicious flavors, they just need an alternate packaging method and their brand and sales will continue to grow. They currently serve their drinks in standard disposable cups. My redesign would allow them to offer the top four most popular flavors in glass bottles. This would allow the product to be sold at other locations outside of their store, increasing the reach. With the product available to more consumers, there will be more sales. College students will purchase the soda to keep at home in their fridge to enjoy right at home or other locations for those who love to enjoy beverages from a glass bottle.
