CAUSE Students of Prof Alexander- to Present Him With a Home Organization Effected and For mer Pupils Will be Asked to Contribute At a meeting of the former students of Prof Wayland Alexander held at the Y M C A parlors at Owensbor recently a movement was Inaugurated to purchases a home to be present to the veteran educator Many of his old student were presented and they are very enthusiastic on the subject and say that it will be successfully carried out Mr L P Loney was elected presi dent of the meeting and Prof B C Gibson secretary It was agreed that there should be an organization to be known as the Alexander Home asso ciatian the purpose of which is to interest the former students of Prof Alexander in the plan to purchase a suitable residence for him Over four thousand former students are scattered over the country and each of them is expeced to contribute to the fundAfter the organization was eflcctcd a committee composed of Rev J T Rushing SW Anderson J D Atchl ron L P Loney and McHenry Rhoads was appointed to prepare a circular explaining the movement which will be sent boardcast through the country McHenry Rhoads S W Anderson Rev J T Rushing W J Craig of Owensboro sion to Louisville Saturday and got back here on the train at 2 oclock Sunday morning Instead of going home he walked out on the track to the east of town In crossing the tres tie he fella distance of
