Registration Fees for advanced registration received by February 21, 2008 are $589 for AFIA members and $1,767 for non-members. The spouse fee is $200 (registration required to attend any conference function). Take advantage of advanced registration; after February 21, there will only be onsite registration. The member fee will be increased to $639, non-members $1,917 and spouses $250. To register, please complete the enclosed form and mail or fax back to the AFIA office or visit www.afia.org to register online. Refund Policy - All refund requests must be faxed or mailed to the AFIA offices. A 90% refund will be approved if AFIA is notified of cancellation prior to February 1, 2008. A 50% refund will be issued with notification prior to February 21, 2008. No refunds will be issued thereafter.

Mention you are with the American Feed Industry Association and the following code (SFAFI8) to receive the preferred room rate of $165 for single/double room occupancy. Also, ask your reservation agent for the price and availability on “GO” rooms (newly renovated exclusive guest rooms.) Guaranteed reservations are refundable if cancelled 72 hours prior to arrival. The cut-off date for making discounted room reservations is February 3, 2008. After this date, AFIA’s room block will be released and reservations (if rooms are available) will be at higher rates.

Airport and Local Ground Transportation The Flamingo is located within minutes of McCarran International Airport. A variety of shuttle/limousine services are available at McCarran, and are located on the west side of baggage claim, outside door exits 8-13. Name Badge Required Registrants will receive a name badge that must be worn for entry into all speaking sessions, meal and social functions.

Dress Code The conference dress code is business casual (ties not required.)

PISC Golf Tournament

The AFIA Purchasing and Ingredient Suppliers Committee is hosting a team scramble on Friday, March 7, 2008. It will be held at the Silver-stone Golf Club. This course brings together challenging holes and beau-tiful fairways with incredible views of mountains, waterfalls and rivers. To learn more about the course, please view, www.silverstonegolfclub.com. You must register for golf with your conference registration to guarantee your slot. The golf fees of $140 include green fees, cart, driving range, breakfast bar and lunch, refreshments, and prizes during the post-tournament ceremony held at lunch. Golf foursomes must be submitted to AFIA in writing by February 15, 2008. Arrangements for golf club rental must be made directly with the pro shop by calling 1-702-562-3770 x103.

Spouse Program Included with the spouse registration are Wednesday’s Welcome Reception, Thursday’s Buffet Luncheon and the Grand Reception as well as attendance at any of the sessions. Badges are required for admittance into these events.

Networking Room The Networking Room is a great place to meet with customers, conduct business, meet with AFIA staff, learn about event sponsors or just take a break.
