Evaporative Cooling Technology
Water is absorbed by the cooling fibers or polymers with the product. Evaporative cooling occurs when
the moisture within the unit vaporizes, creating a cooling sensation for the wearer. When activating your
cooling product you may use room temperature water; ice water or cold water are not necessary.
Use over other PPE garments; product must be exposed to air movement to facilitate cooling.

Phase Change Technology
Cold temperature is absorbed by the Phase Change Material which changes from a clear liquid to an opaque solid. Place the Phase Change pack in the torso garment and wear against body. Cold temperature begins to be transferred to the wearer as the latent heat is absorbed by the Phase Change material. Material begins to turn back to clear liquid as it deactivates. Activate again.

Our personal cooling vest maintains a comfortable 65° F temperature for up to 3 hours. The semi-solid thermal energy storage material (PCM) is designed to absorb heat generated by the wearer. A great solution for working in high humidity areas and for use under other PPE garments where evaporative products are less effective.
The PCM material is set at a comfortable temperature that will not cause vasoconstriction. Vasoconstriction is a physical response to extreme cold, where the veins and arteries constrict and slow blood movement, causing the body to retain heat. 65° is comfortable and less shocking to the body’s system, allowing for natural circulation.
