Panui 35 — 1 November 2018
Kia Ora e te Whānau,
Well seniors, only five more sleeps to go before your year is done! It has been great
to work with you guys this year and I wish you every success in the next phase of
your journeys.
At the moment our library is not fully operational because we had to brace the walls
to accommodate the books. A big thank you to Kate, Ian, James and all those who
rolled up their sleeves to fix the shelves. We are now open to the public and should
have all the books back in their shelves and sorted by the end of next week.
I also want to thank Charmaine for working with our students to prepare them for the
25th Anniversary Celebration of our Wharekura.
A special shout out to Jadalee and Mrs Goodhue, both of whom are recovering from
surgery to their legs. May both of you have a speedy recovery.
We are also making an appeal to anyone who has found a key as we have lost one
for the canteen. So if you have found one, please drop it in to the office, it will be
much appreciated.
Finally, watch your mail boxes as senior reports are being mailed out this week.
Ngā mihi nui,
Johan van Deventer
