Pioneer is one of the largest full-service construction, maintenance, and fabrication companies in the Midwest, specializing in general, structural, mechanical, and electrical construction, pipe fabrication and installation, steel fabrication and erection, modular fabrication and assembly, and plant maintenance.With annual revenues in excess of $100,000,000, we employ over 500 people across the region.
We have over 35 years of experience in completing construction, maintenance, and fabrication projects of all sizes, including turn-key projects in excess of $40,000,000. Due to our size and wide range of experience, we have been able to retain the regions most respected estimators, project managers, supervisors, and craftsmen in-house. In fact, almost all of our key personnel have over 20 years of experience with Pioneer.
Going hand-in-hand with Pioneers experience is our commitment to safety. Safety is Pioneers top priority, and our goal is zero accidents on every project. As a credit to our safety team, we are annually recognized for excellence in safety at the local, state, and national levels.
Along with our commitment to safety, Pioneer is committed to delivering high quality services and products in a timely manner, and our name must represent quality to everyone who does business with us. We maintain ASME & National Board Stamps S-U-R-NB, ISO 9001:2008 Certifications, and AISC Steel Fabricator and Erector Certifications. Additionally, we maintain API 1104 certifications.
We operate four fabrication shops in the Marietta, Ohio area, where we perform all types of pipe, structural steel, miscellaneous steel, and modular fabrication and assembly. In total, we have over 250,000 square feet of fabrication space under roof.

We are committed to making safety an essential part of every task performed on our projects, and we strive to assure the overall safety of our employees, customers, and the surrounding community. With that goal in mind, we have committed our resources and personnel to a comprehensive safety program, which includes: The appointment of a Director of Environment, Health, and Safety, with direct access to our President
and Chief Executive Officer, and the employment of full-time Safety Managers. The hands on, daily involvement of our President and Chief Executive Officer with the Safety Department. Providing our employees with a Drug Free Workplace, and access to an Employee Assistance Program. Providing certified OSHA 500 Construction, OSHA 501 General Industry, and American Heart Association
CPR / First Aid instructors on staff. Providing a Supervisors Training Program and conducting weekly toolbox talks that emphasize employee
involvement. Developing, implementing, and continually working to improve our safety programs, manuals, and
procedures to provide our employees with the most up-to-date safety, health, and environmental guidelines. Serving as an active member of the Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC), Mid-Ohio Valley
Safety Share, Mid-Ohio Valley Safety Council, and the West Virginia Manufacturers Association Workers Compensation Safety Committee.
