• Images make informa4on more convincing and easier to believe.
• It is the preferred method of consump4on for consumers.
Core Model of Pinterest Marke4ng • Populate Your Page – Create at least 5 boards each with at least 10 pins. – This does not all have to be original content, it’s most important to get something on your page to be able to promote to your audience.
• Build Followers First (Outside of Pinterest) – Engage your current audience: email (footer – Will you follow me on Pinterest?), Facebook, website (follow & Pin It buRon).
– It can be small, but you’ve got to use something to get started.
– They are already your biggest fans, use them and get them to create exposure for you.
– Get exponen4al exposure from your fans.
Core Model of Pinterest Marke4ng • Crea4ng original content – See what is most popular. – Repin what is popular so that it gets maximum exposure in your stream.
– Once a week delete duplicate pins. – Just because you pin it once, does not mean that all of your followers see it.
– From this you will be able to create more of the most effec4ve content and then recycle it.
– The goal here is to spend as liRle 4me as possible on Pinterest. You have a business to run.
Fast Ac4on Strategy • Make 3 pins per week.
• Use Pingraphy to schedule each pin 3 different days that week, at 3 different 4mes. – LIVE DEMO
• At the end of the week go back and delete the duplicates.
• Keep the pin that has the most engagement.
Your Strategy
• You want to leverage Pinterest to get more traffic and sales in as liRle 4me as possible.
• You need to know what to pin, how o`en and at what 4mes to get the maximum results.

• Traffic – Geang them to your site.
• Sales – What happens once they are on your site.
Using Pinterest to Drive Traffic The 4 C’s: • Content with higher CTR:
– Tutorials – Teasers
• CTA’s – 80% increase in engagement
• Cap4ons
– Every cap4on should feature a link.
• Clicks – Pins must link to your site.

• Once the founda4on has been laid, you only need to spend an hour once a week to both create and schedule your content for the week.
• Focus on star4ng with just 3 new pins per week. – For max results be sure to follow both of the 4 C’s and the 4 P’s.
