Jaipur by Nite Marathon This is to showcase the passion towards the fitness and well-being mixed with the

heritage culture of the Jaipur city. Prior to marathon flag off, we will have performance by well known Swaraag

Band and Zumba Fitness Workshop by Samar Singh from 7:00 pm onwards on 28 September from Hotel Clarks

Amer. Last year we had participation of 3000 Runners from across India including Corporate, Indian Army,

Government officials from Northern Region States and Jaipur. We are expecting 7,500 people to participate in

this edition of Nite Marathon.

Objective of Jaipur by Nite

Jaipur is the gateway to India’s most colorful state Rajasthan. It is known as ‘pink-city’ because of the colour of the stone exclusively used for

the walled city. Recently, Jaipur Walled city is declared as a World Heritage site by UNESCO for its iconic architectural legacy and vibrant culture.

The things to do in Jaipur which attract tourists the most is visits to its fine historical buildings which are a mix of Mughal and Rajput architecture

along with the Jaipur bazaars painted in pink, that are often known for its vibrant artefacts. At Iconic place of Jaipur, tourists are able to see how

the well-trained craftsmen have put in their heart and soul to produce the traditional pots of blue pottery, to make a piece of white cotton cloth a

beautiful dress with colorful block and khadi print and the finest jewellry which can be adorned by the women to enhance their beauty.

The city treats you with the blend of its beautiful western and local culture. There are so many things to do in Jaipur at local bazaars. Here the

local bazar will treat you with essence of traditional culture whereas the other streets will treat you with their modern touch. Jaipur’s heritage

hotels serve their tourists with a perfect blend of traditional foods of Rajasthan and the cafes in Jaipur serve dainty modern savouries.

Jaipur by Nite is touching the hearts of people from across the world from

last 9 years. The carnival is initiated by Confederation of Indian

Industry(CII) in the year 2008 as an endeavor to celebrate and magnify

summers and monsoon as well as Night tourism in Jaipur. This is not just

an event but it’s a platform for tourists and people of Jaipur to explore the

rich heritage and culture of Rajasthan. After drizzling in the month of July

and August, when the historical Pinkcity comes at its natural charm and

here, "Jaipur by Nite" calls you to explore more colours of Pinkcity. The

programme has now established as one of the important events to

promote Night Tourism in Rajasthan and that too in Summers and

Monsoon. Many Diplomats and Tourists from out of Rajasthan have been

participating in this event.

thThe 6 Edition of Jaipur By Nite was organized on 25 August, 1 & 2 September 2018 at City Palace and

Hotel Clarks Amer by CII in association with Department of Tourism, Govt of Rajasthan; Ministry of Tourism,

Govt of India; Rajasthan Khadi and Village Development Board and Dept of Archaeology, Govt of

Rajasthan.The event witnessed a mix of classical and Bollywood music & International Fashion Show by Ms

Bibi Russell and was attended by more than 5000 participants. Senior industry members, tourists and youth

from 32 cities of India participated at this mega event.

INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPATION

In Jaipur By Nite Ambassadors of USA, France, Italy, Australia, Namibia, Turkey, Slovak, Slovenia, Rwanda,

Nigeria, Indonesia, Afghanistan, Uganda, Niger, Zambia, Bosnia, Poland, Costa Rica, Botswana, etc have

participated.

A total of 25,000 people visited over the last six editions of Jaipur by Nite from all across the world. Over the

years, Jaipur by Nite has also attracted considerable media attention and numerous well-known sponsors.

Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) works to create and sustain an environment conducive to the development of India, partnering industry, Government, and civil society, through advisory and consultative processes.

CII is a non-government, not-for-profit, industry-led and industry-managed organization, playing a proactive role in India's development process. Young Indians (Yi)

Young Indians (Yi) is an integral part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), a non-government, not-for-profit, industry-led and industry managed organization playing a proactive role in India's development process. Yi was formed in the year 2002 to create a platform for young Indians to realize the dream of a developed nation. Yi has around 2350 direct members in 40 chapters, and engages around 10500 students through chaupals, under the brand 'Yuva'. The Yi membership includes young progressive Indians between the age group of 21 to 40 and comprises entrepreneurs, professionals, achievers from different walks of life. Yi's work is divided primarily into three groups; "Youth Leadership", "Nation Building "and "Thought Leadership". With Fourteen years of glorious past and decades ahead that promise nothing short, Yi intends to become a larger movement of young people and promote the attitude of "We Can, We Will".

Indian Women Network (IWN)

In 2013, CII launched the Indian Women Network (IWN) with the vision of being the largest network for career women. The thought behind the formation of IWN was that career women require a structured network to discuss and overcome challenges that they may be facing at the workplace while presenting to each other opportunities that are present in the ecosystem. The network has spread to 15 states, 7 Zones and 1 Union Territory across the country.

IWN works towards enabling women to become better professionals and achievers in their respective fields by providing various need-based services through :
