an exciting hop blend collaboration celebrating women in the beer industry

The “2019 Pink Boots Blend” is an exclusive hop blend now available to commercial brewers, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Pink Boots Society Scholarship Fund. Created to assist, inspire and encourage women beer industry professionals to advance their careers through education. During the 2018 Great American Beer Festival® in Denver, CO— Yakima Chief staff and PBS members met to rub, smell and experience a selection of hop samples for the upcoming blend. Each year, a new blend will be chosen during the harvest season by members of Pink Boots Society. The hop blend will be released to registered brewers prior to International Women’s Day on March 8th and are encouraged to create their own celebratory brews.

The blend will be produced in traditional T90 hop pellets with limited availability, and $3 per pound will be donated to the Pink Boots Society Scholarship funds.
