Family and friends of County Judges John Carassas and Edwin Jagger filled Courtroom 1 of the Criminal Justice Center for their investitures on March 3.

Among the invited guests was Andreas Psycharis, Greek consul general assigned to Greece’s consulate in Tampa. He is in light suit near the center of front row. Others included Florida Attorney General Charlie Crist (to Psycharis’ right), and, from his left Clerk of Court Ken Burke, State Attorney Bernie McCabe, St. Petersburg Assistant City Manager Goliath Davis and Pinellas Sheriff Jim Coats.

Judge Jagger’s sons proved that boys will be boys . . . even in a courtroom, whether the speech is by their father, above, or someone else, at left.

While his father films his words for prosperity, above, at least one of the girls in Judge Carassas’ life seems to have a bigger interest in the gifts . . . particularly the gavel.
