AKO Armaturen & Separations GmbH is a German company founded in 1984, specialising in the production of pinch valves.

The constant high quality of our pinch valves, knife gate valves and all other products has additionally been monitored and certi-fied regularly in accordance to DIN ISO 9001:2008 over the last ten years.

With AKO pinch valve production sites and independent compa-nies in Germany, France, England and agencies in 24 countries, AKO is able to provide you with its pinch valves, knife gate valves

and their spare parts ex-tremely quickly around the world.

AKO works with various companies from the widest variety of sectors all around the world.

AKO develops and designs its valves and fittings using the latest CAD, analysis and simulation software; taking into consideration all applicable standards and directives, such as the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC.

Air operated Pinch Valves

Supplying compressed air/fluid (min. pressure difference 2 bar) into the casing of the air oper-ated Pinch Valve compresses the sleeve, which is specially manu-factured with high rebound elastic-ity. The body‘s design guarantees

that the sleeve can close freely to form a lip shape. This ensures that the product flow is completely sealed off tight and that the sleeve is guaranteed the longest service life at the same time.

Versions of Air operated Pinch Valve:A wide variety of materials for the casing, flanges, sockets and sleeve qualities reveal a very wide field of application for the air operated Pinch Valves.

There are also special, conductive models with a separate earthing system, which are suitable for use in areas at risk of explo-sions (EX) in zones 1, 2 , 21 and 22.

Manual and Control Pinch Valves

The sleeve of the Manual Pinch Valve is controlled by a mecha-nism inside the casing and an actuator of your choice. The mechanism comprises one or two pinch bars arranged horizontally above and below the sleeve, and

is guided at the side by two rods.

Versions of manual and control Pinch Valves:

Actuator variants available include manual actuation by means of a hand wheel or the automatic variant with double or single-acting pneumatic cylinders and electrical actuator drives. A wide variety of materials used in the casing and sleeve qualities open up a very wide field of applications.

Manual and Control Pinch Valves OV SeriesLike the air operated pinch valves, the manual and control pinch valves are excellent for the isolation of abrasive media such as slurries and liquids.

Various drive options offer different control possibilities.

If requested by the customer, installation of various accessories such as proximity switches, solenoid valves, positioners, etc. are possible.
