Purpose
• Correlate Test Platform 2 to Test Platform 1 using Pin vs. Pout sweep.
• Demonstrate second approach for correlating two Pin vs. Pout curves.
Definition
• Test Platform 1 - Reference platform• Test Platform 2 - Uncorrelated platform• Relative Pout difference/delta – The difference
between Pout (from Test Platform 1) – Pout (from Test Platform 2) at the same Pin level
Assumptions• RF source and power reading instruments are
well calibrated across each platforms
• PA Characteristics of Pin vs. Pout is approximately the same across different RF testing platforms– This is the backbone of my curve alignment
algorithm
• Curve alignment is the basis for correlation
