1 Product Overview Pilot Walktour is a portable, multi-technology wireless network measurement tool, designed based

on the latest smartphone devices available in the market. Pilot Walktour is the industry leading and

cost efficient wireless network handheld test solutions for in-building and various voice and data

services testing. Pilot Walktour also provides easy and efficient indoor and outdoor test operation

interface, real-time network quality measurement and troubleshooting, and perform test from a

real user-perception.

2 New Features

Dynamic Parameter Display

In this version, parameters of the current network technologies will be displayed as the main

information interface in real time during tests.

Improved Data Management

The data management function is improved, which includes:

Support intelligent data Filter, Search, and Filter Exceeded functions

Support data exception display, Go or No Go display

Support data details including test mode, upload status, test duration, test plan

Data Decoding and Replay

Users may decode and replay on the phone the data (in the *.rcu or *.ddib format) that is not

collected by the phone.

Airplane Mode

In previous versions, the airplane mode on the phone will be automatically enabled and then

disabled before test, to ensure the KPI or parameter statistics’ accuracy of the data service tests.

However, for some wireless network technologies, the test device cannot immediately access the

technology after the airplane mode is disabled, thereby affecting the service test and the KPI, or

parameter statistics’ accuracy.

In this version, users may set whether to enable the airplane mode on the phone based on the

actual situation. If users turn on this button, the airplane mode on the phone will be automatically

enabled and disabled before test every time.

Note: For voice service test, users do not need to enable the airplane mode.

4 Known Issues and Limitations

1. For iOS7 series terminals, users need to properly install the plugin "BackGrounder"

before installing Pilot Walktour.

2. The current PESQ testing with Pilot Walktour iOS is limited to only the iOS version 5/6.

Dingli has limited supply of this devices, please consult Dingli sales in your region for the

latest availability.
