We need 40 volunteers to be with us that morning in order to pack medications for the approximately 400 patients that we will be seeing. Each patient will receive an average of four (4) prescriptions; each one written for a three-month supply. That’s a lot of pills!!! A light lunch will be served and childcare provided. Please sign up, or see Deacon Clelia for more information. The church and the church office will be closed Wednesday, November 22, through Friday, November 24. All services, meetings and events scheduled for these dates have been canceled. Normal operations and service/event schedule will resume on Saturday, November 25. Please feel free to contact the office before Wednesday, November 22, with any questions.

Central Gulf Coast

Convention will be

hosted by St. An-

drew's by the Sea in

Destin, Thursday,

February 22nd (evening) through the

morning of Saturday, February 24th. All

Okaloosa County Episcopal churches

are asked to provide volunteers to help

We are in the planning stages for

our 12th annual weeklong icon

workshop-retreat to be held at St.

Simons on the Sound Episcopal

Church in Fort Walton Beach, Flori-

da, from March 12-March 16,

2018. If you are interested in icono-

graphy, please prayerfully consider

attending this "workshop for the

soul". It is a wonderful spiritual ex-

perience. Master iconographer and

our dear friend, Teresa Harrison,

will once again be leading our work-

shop. The class is appropriate for

beginners as well as for those of us

who have written icons in the

past. This year we are offering the

opportunity to paint one of two

Icon Workshop 2018

with a variety of tasks. If you are

able to serve as an usher (Thursday

evening, Friday morning and noon,

Saturday morning) or a greeter (let

me know your availability) to help

welcome and direct people, or lunch

time Friday to assist with distribu-

tion of box lunches, and other duties

as needed, please contact Fr. David

and let him know exactly what avail-

ability you have.

If you are able to volunteer, please
